  • Operation Nana Clause
Style: Motorcycle w/ Training Wheels Pattern Name: Blue
The assembly instructions were easy to follow. Maybe 40 minutes to put together. I was not in a rush and I did it solo. I only used a screwdriver. I’m sure Pop Pop will tighten up everything once he’s feeling better. But to keep the magic of Christmas alive …I had to black ops to full “Operation Nana Clause” mode! I’ll do anything for my grandson ❤️. I’ll try to post pics and a video once the grandson takes it for a spin! ... show more

This is so cute! My 3 year old granddaughter absolutely loves it! The battery last a while, the bubbles don't last too long before having to add more, but it puts a lot of bubbles out and is a cute feature! I love that she just gets on it pushes the button and off she goes! This is totally worth the money for sure! ... show more

  • Almost Perfect
Style: Teen Mini Bike Pattern Name: White/Blue
I have been searching for an electric dirt bike for my son for quite some time. Many of our neighborhood kids have the Razor mx650 but I did not want the old school lead acid batteries so I went with this bike because of its lithium ion batteries. The bike came neatly packed in the box with all accessories and the assembly was fairly straightforward. Only needed to put the front fork, front tire, and a few plastic covers. However, the metal rod that connects the front fork to the bike cage was severely bent and could not go through the hole without me having to hammer it straight. No a big issue, but I think that was a manufacturer defect as the box was undamaged and the metal rod was already partially attached to the fork, so the bend must have happened at the manufacturer and not during shipping. After the assembly, I went ahead and plugged it in to be charged, and this is where I noticed the biggest let down, and the reason why I am not giving it a 5 star rating. To charge the bike, you have to remove the seat, disconnect the port from the battery, and plug the charger into the battery port. This is a big miss as I think this bike deserves a better charging solution. It will get very old having to remove the seat to charge the bike every time. Another minor letdown is the seat. It's actually HARD PLASTIC. Now for the ride experience, this is where the bike shines. It is SOOOOO QUIET ... the hub motor is barely noticeable. The suspension is ... meh, nothing to rave about but my son only rides it on pavement so it's not a big deal. The fat tires are absorbing a lot of bumps which makes it for a more enjoyable riding experience. The battery indicator screen is bright and easy to tell how much battery life you have left. I do wish it had a speed indicator, but not many other bikes in this price range do, so it is not a big deal. The battery seems to be able to go pretty far. We have not tested it exactly to see how long, but we did take it on a paved trail and went for over 30 minutes and only lost 1 bar, so I would say I am pleased with the range. We are getting a lot of compliments about this bike and I am very happy that we picked this one over the Razor one. Now, I need to save money to buy another one for my daughter. ... show more

  • TERRIBLE... Worst Ride-On I Have Tested
Style: Quad Pattern Name: Hot Pink
I love ride-on toys and have since I was young. I started modifying them for my older kids and learned a lot about how they work, which are designed well and which aren't, what features to look out for, etc... I went against by better judgment getting this piece of junk. I could see terrible reviews and I have never known Huffy as a producer of electric ride-ons. I really liked the idea of the trailer wagon for my youngest daughter, so I decided I could just fix whatever design flaws there were. To a degree this was possible, but this is still the WORST electric ride-on I have seen. 1) The wheels are small with very little tread. When you pair this with how light the ride-on is - as well as how light the average rider would be - the back right wheel (which is the only one that spins when power is applied) just spins and does not propel the toy forward. This is one of those things that baffles me... how did this get the ok as a design? If it does not move forward when pressing the accelerator, IT DOES NOT WORK! Come on Huffy! Anyway, here is how to fix that issue: get an old bike tire and some tin snips. Cut strips to act as tread bands for the back right tire (don't worry about the rest of the tires). Next take drywall screws and - while pulling tight around the tire with cut piece of bike tire - begin drilling the new tread at 1-2 inch increments on either side. Now the tire will grip whatever surface regardless of the weight of the rider. Materials: I understand that a children's ride on is going to come with some cheap components... but on this thing it is all garbage quality. Cheap plastic that seems more fitting for a candy container than a ride on as expensive as this. Garbage wheels and steering apparatus (more on that next) Steering: Here is the deal-breaker. The steering on this sham of a device is so bad that I have to resist the urge to use expletives. Firstly, the design of the steering column housing is so poor that it only takes one or two turns in which the maximum turning radius of the wheel is reached for it to bend the cheap plastic ridge that acts as a stop, thereby making the wheel spin the all the way around and do nothing until it catches again (and this will occur only until the plastic wears down to the point where it no longer catches at all. To fix this, I had to create a custom metal stop and screw in a small stop into the top of the wheel housing. While this helped, the turning radius is still so poor that the device can basically only drive in a straight line. DO NOY BUY THIS ... show more

Style: Bubble Scooter Pattern Name: My Little Pony
I got this for my granddaughter for her 4th birthday back in September, she just learned how to ride it a few days ago and already it is having a speed issue or battery issue, she’s a tiny one so it’s not a weight issue, maybe I can try to replace the 6 volt battery but I’m really bummed she only got to use it a couple times and she’s very upset. Otherwise the large platform is nice and it is cute, the bubbles we could do without. ... show more
