  • LUV This Machine! Do Not Over Tighten Pressure Knob!
Let me start by saying what great customer service I received from them even though I probably caused the issue! This is my very first heat press with the exception of a 12x12 Cricut Easy Press and a good old home iron. I was inexperienced and simply didn’t know what I was doing! The press is a beautiful machine! It is very simple to use and a nice size. I absolutely love it! I had only pressed 20-25 items since purchasing it 3 weeks earlier. I was pressing an item that required “firm” pressure. So I did just that, turned the knob until tight. I didn’t over crank it, but it was tight. As soon as it clamped down it sounded like a gunshot went off 2 feet in front of me. The knob literally blew 3 feet into the air and split into 4 pieces. My heart cracked in half, I panicked, I just destroyed my brand new machine. My husband came running when heard the “gunshot” sound go off down the hall. To find me in full out panic mode lol. He said “no worries, it could easily be fixed! Order a new knob, it didn’t damage the machine” At 9:30 pm I sent the company an email explaining everything that transpired along with a few photos. By early morning I received a reply saying they would send me a replacement knob immediately. I’m glad to say the knob was delivered and my machine is back up and running. Side Note: I have since watched 6-8 YouTube videos on how to set pressures on manual heat press’s. I will end this with saying it again:) I LOVE THIS MACHINE! ... show more

  • Great press
Style: Blue
Works great, easy to adjust pressure. Happy with the quality . The tension knob broke “ it looked like a factory flaw” and they mailed me out a new one right away so I’m also happy with their customer service

  • Looks Good, But Poor Functionality and Durability
Pros: Aesthetically pleasing with nice cosmetics Swivel feature is decent but mid-tier—does the job, but nothing special Heats up fast, which is great for efficiency Cons: The system is frustrating—there’s no simple way to reset the timer. To reset it, you have to keep increasing the time, which is cumbersome and poorly designed. The pressure is abysmal. Out of 20 shirts, only 3 came out properly on the first press. The lack of even pressure across the platen makes it unreliable, and this adds a lot of wasted time and materials. Durability is a huge issue. After just a few uses, the twist knob that adjusts the pressure broke. I wasn’t even over-tightening, but the poor pressure system forces you to apply more pressure than it can handle. I’ve seen other reviews with the same issue, so it’s clearly a design flaw. Overall: While the heat press may look appealing for beginners, its functionality leaves much to be desired. It’s more hassle than help. The inability to reset the timer, the inconsistent pressure, and the fragile build make this a poor choice for anyone serious about pressing shirts. You’ll end up wasting materials and time trying to get it to work properly. For the same price, you’d be better off with a Chinese alternative, or if you’re committed to this brand, invest in a higher-end model. Unfortunately, despite its good looks, the performance and durability just don’t measure up. ... show more

  • Customer service was amazing!
I came back to edit my review. I had an issue with my machine, customer service handled it swiftly and rectified the situation. I wanted to wait until I at least pressed a shirt to change my review. I did and everything works perfectly!

  • Another good product from HTVRONT, and I hope it lasts
[October 2024 = HTVRONT Heat Press Machine for T Shirts - 15x15 Swing Away Shirt Press Machine] I bought this machine on sale during the October Prime Days for $151 which was a decent discount at the time for this. However, they appear to have dropped the everyday price to about that. I've got two smaller heat presses that are like square dry irons, but this is my first clamping style heat press machine, and I haven't had a chance to put it to the test until today (Nov 3rd). So far, so good. It's a large, heavy machine, so be careful when you're unpacking or carrying it. I actually needed a second person to help me 'unbox' it, by holding down the large cardboard box while I lifted and wiggled the machine in its polystyrene foam packing out and onto the table top. After removing the foam & plastic bag it was in, all I then had to do was plug the AC cord into the wall and plug the USB cord into the heat & timer controller. The instructions in the booklet are pretty basic and only took a couple of minutes to read. I grabbed an old black cotton t-shirt and some winter tree designs cut from puff glitter vinyl I received from the Amazon Vine testing program. To be honest, I think it's an ugly color so I didn't mind if I wasted it. I've never used puff vinyl before and I've heard puff vinyl is finicky, so it might not have been a fair test of the machine. However, I figured if it can deal with puff vinyl, anything else I do with it should be easy. Anyway, I turned up the heat to 320F and 15 seconds, as per the puff vinyl's instructions. (The machine's instructions said the same settings. The vinyl said use Medium/High pressure, so I rotated the machine's big black knob 360 degrees four times to increase the pressure. Unfortunately there's no gauge or anything to tell you what pressure you're using, but the top section of the machine was definitely clamping down harder on the bottom mat below, and I didn't want to stress or break the knob by winding it down too hard. (The knob breaking off has clearly been an issue for other reviewers.) Pushing the power button on the controller turns on the machine and the digital display on the controller shows the temperature and the time in seconds. You can also pick F (Fahrenheit) or C (Celsius) for the temp. Rotating the two knobs sets the heat level and time required. When you're ready to press, holding down the start button for two seconds begins the timer countdown. The timer is just a timer, so it has no affect on the machine's heat level and isn't started or stopped by what the machine is doing. The top plate smoothly rotates 180 degrees to the right, allowing for easy placement of the item you're going to press on the padded mat (which is held in place on the bottom platter by elastic loops at each corner). You swing back the top, line it up with the bottom platter, and push down on the big plastic handle to clamp down the top. This is the one issue I've found... The timer. You have to push the button on the controller to start it counting down. So - Do you push it before clamping? After clamping? Use one hand to clamp while simultaneously pushing the start button? Add an extra two seconds to allow for pushing it before, or take off two for doing it after? I've no idea, but I ended up counting the time in my head instead, which is probably why the puff vinyl isn't as good as I expected/hoped. It's not bad though. Despite my indecision about the timer, I really like the machine so far. I'll continue to test it with less demanding vinyls and will then update this review. ... show more
