Decent little beginner set. I've used resins before, but just for doing boat repairs, which is very different, but also similar. The set comes with everything you need to play around a little, including some nice silicone mixing cups and a decent sized silicone mat. The mat sticks to itself really bad, and I spent a good few minutes prying it apart, trying not to tear it, though I may have been over cautious. I also purchased a set of larger molds, as that's what I'll mostly be doing other than boat work. I went through the resin very quickly; unless you're only going to be making little pendants you'll need a lot more resin. The resin dries nice and hard and clear. It did leave surface bubbles(mostly on the surface of the molds, not the exposed surface), but those can be buffed out. It does take a long time to cure compared to boat resin. The puzzle piece for instance was rubbery after more than 24 hours. The silicone mixing cups are nice, it's my first time using them, and I already ordered some larger ones for my boat work. Instructions are pretty good, though I wish it had more info on mixing colors and encapsulating objects, but we always have youtube for things like that. ... show more

I made so much with this kit! Super easy to follow directions and everything you need is right in this kit. The colors are fantastic! I’m still using them a few months later! You only need a tiny bit in each resin batch so the color pigment lasts you so long! This kit was so worth the money!
