This cooling block is amazing! I love the compact size of 4"x4" and it is a great quality block. The handle is screwed in securely and the block is pretty lightweight. I thought it would be heavier, but it is a nice weight and works great. It is nice for smaller projects, or even t-shirts with different sections so you can cool off a portion at a time. You can use it as is, or place it in the fridge for a little while, like while pre-heating your heat press, and when you're ready, take it out of the fridge and use it directly on your project. It definitely cools the item quickly and helps with that impatience, haha. The design is also very cool. The colors are gorgeous and the sea/ beach vibe is perfect. I'd love to get large blocks like this for bigger projects like full t-shirts and such. I feel like it will last a long time too, it doesn't just feel like a cheap, flimsy thing. Overall, highly recommend!

Looks cute and just like the pictures. The handle feels sturdy, and the cooling block itself feels solid. Does a good job so far of cooling down smaller projects quickly, and I like that the color & design make it harder to misplace. I took a star off because it’s not quite 4”x4”. It’s very close, but if you’re working with a specific size project, it could be a problem.

I love this item!! I am just a hobbyist and make a few things here or there and thought this would be an awesome addition to my craft kit. • Quality: Solid well-made block of acrylic with a handle and cute seashell design. This is on the smaller side 4x4, so it worked well on my smaller projects, but not ideal for larger ones. I just did a bunch of onesies for my granddaughter. Most were a 6x6 or less design so I was only able to cool part of the design, which of course were the finer areas that tend to give you stress on if they will peel off with the backing or stay on the item you are transferring your design to. • Usability: Easy to use. Just place in the fridge while weeding your design or preheating your heat press and when ready take out and place on your design to speed up the cooling process before peeling the backing off. If you have fridge space, you could also leave it in the fridge, so it is ready for use whenever you need it. • Performance: Item exceeded my expectations and helped with the impatience I usually have waiting for a design to cool enough to peel the backing off and see my design. • Durability: Because there are no moving parts or electronics and it is a thick block, I do believe it will last as long as your passion for the hobby. Overall, I am very happy with this item. It exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend as great value for the price.

I love my Cricut and am constantly making designs to apply to clothing or cups, glasses etc.etc. This tool, at about 4"x4" is so helpful for small areas. It is about an inch thick so it has a bit of weight to it. I like the fact that the handle is not only nice sized, for a good grip, but attached securely with bolts (photo) to the plate. Of course the design is darling. As with so many items that I purchase they need to have a multi purpose use to earn their "real estate" space. This does: It works so well to cool transfers but, In my opinion, the weight may help to set them better also. I use this as is (not cooled) when using permanent vinyl for extra pressure. It is a great paperweight when I am using glue while making greeting cards. This is so they lay nice and flat as they dry. If a little, tiny bit of glue seeps it doesn't stick. This is just a few uses. I highly recommend it!
