Although it did come with a slight smell it went away once the rug was out of the packaging! The rug was true to size and it’s SUPER soft ! It’s also very flat but if you are putting it on a hardwood surface I would honestly put something underneath so it doesn’t slide. The media could not be loaded. I really like the color, size is perfect under my bed and feels amazing. You could use a pad if this was for a baby's room. It is just what I was looking for and come on the price is great for the size...I would definitely recommend for a bedroom office or nursery.

What I expected for the price. I wanted a cheap rug and this meets the need. This is a very soft rug. It doesn't have an anti-slip backing so a rug pad is a must. For what its worth, I found the rug to be weirdly slippery when placed on a hard surface. Even with a rug pad, your foot slightly slips as you walk.
