Also, it is fast and I can multitask several programs while playing games. My one disappointment was that I purchased the laptop on Black Friday when you expect the prices to drop, but I noticed that after Black Friday there was an $18.00 price drop. Admittedly, the price was affordable and reasonable for a gaming laptop (HP Victus AMD Ryzen 5-7535HS) which was released in 2022. Also, it has 32 gigs of RAM and 1TB SSD. It sells for up to $900.00 at other retailers. In summary, the HP Victus Ryzen 5 Gaming Laptop is an outstanding choice for gamers. It strikes the perfect balance between power, design, and versatility, making it suitable for gaming, content creation, and everyday use, its features and performance are the same as a gaming laptop that costs 3 times as much.     • Worked great, until...
It worked perfectly for resource light gaming and browsing, girlfriend loved it. One week later, it gets stuck in a spinning circle + the logo. No windows login, only spinny circle. Went into bios and played with the boot order, set up a USB windows installer and used that to try restoring, undoing updates, use cmd prompt and chkdsk and sfc scannow + other restore methods ive forgotten at this point. Seemed like a failure of the ssd, mobo, or the connector between the 2. Luckily this happened well within the return period. Laptop seems to be a good laptop. I haven't had time to test it out completely though. Only problem i see so far is that it's missing the extra hard drive it says it's supposed to come with. There was also a price drop that I wish I could've gotten with it.

Hi! This is a great PC. Came quickly and with no issues. Thanks! However, just note that this is NOT a fresh PC from HP. The company selling this bought this in bulk, upgraded the PC with the specs listed above, and then shipped it out. So any issues you have will be with that company, not with HP. This is a good "light" gaming laptop (games from 4+ years ago). It cannot play the latest games or even MMORPGs. If you need a business laptop, this is great. You can run a lot of Chrome tabs and Windows. The reason for the 2 stars is that it is a good laptop, but the vendor is unresponsive and, as others have said, is missing an external drive. Running like a champ and have had zero problems. Easy to set up and transfer anything from an older PC or laptop onto the new machine. Extremely easy, someone with no computer or technical knowledge could very easily get right through the transfer and set up.

I got this laptop and was very excited and it worked for about 2 months and then it crashed bc of some update for windows software and haven’t been able to reboot it bc it lacks legacy. Called HP and I have to reinstall windows from a flash drive with an Ethernet connection. I am not tech savvy and am very busy, so I haven’t been able to use the laptop for 3-4 months now. I’m utterly disappointed really want my money back bc it’s ridiculous and I’ve never heard of anything like this. .. ... show more
