I ordered the 32gb ram, 2tbb Hp Victus 15. The keyboard has a backlight (use FN + F4 simultaneously to turn on or off). No, the keyboard does not have RGB, so will not change color. They keyboard is smooth, has the number pad, which has been extremely handy. I have upgraded from my Lenovo thinkpad 4, which has 4 or 8gb ram, and was not sufficient for video editing. However, I was not into editing until after purchasing this. So I am very pleased with the speed. This has been fantastic for doing such projects. Very pleased with my purchase. I would highly recommend for video editing, esp if you are a beginner/intermediate. I have not tried 4k editing or 3D, but plan to do some projects in the near future. ... show more

When I saw the price of this laptop with the specs it was showing, I thought “no way this is as good as it says right?” WRONG!! This laptop has been everything and more than I expected! Love the look, runs great, does die somewhat quickly when it isn’t plugged in, but I feel like that is on me because when I am using this laptop I am USING this laptop! I’ve got multiple tabs open and I am running multiple software’s. All in all, through all of that I am very happy with my purchase! Had purchased a HP Essential 255 G8 Laptop prior to this. That was smaller, very light and felt inexpensive, etc. Some say that you had to be careful opening it because the screen/top was very thin and flexible. With this Victus, it is larger, is about the same wt if not slightly heavier than my Lenovo of 2017 - but that doesn't concern me. The top /screen on this is much more sturdy than the HP Essential and the hinge certainly appears to be much heavier and better than the prev HP noted or others that are out there in general. I do like the keys which are raised. The backlit panel is great when it starts to get dark in the room and I don't want to turn the lights on. I am not using this for gaming. I just wanted something that got good ratings, had a large drive, felt like it had some quality behind it, etc. So far, so good . ... show more
