This is a really good budget option for a gaming laptop. So far it has played any game I wanted it too. Gaming capabilities are high enough for my uses. RuneScape, Civilization, Slay the Spire, Rollercoaster Tycoon, BioShock so far.

Best laptop ever for 500$. It's original value was like 700-950$. I am disappointed in no back lit keyboard though I know other slightly more expensive models of the same HP laptop had them. However those are still 800$+ while this one is now 500$. It comes equipped with an NVIDIA GPU high perforamnce never seen minecraft reach below 120FPS on 1.12.2. I am not a fan of the dynamic overclocking on the Intel CPU I would prefer it just always being 4.2GHZ 8 core as the software even when it reaches 2.4GHZ won't always increase when it's reached it's limit even on high performance power plan settings. I never seen it go past 3.8GHZ I really which intel would fix this ... show more

I love it. I use this more for photos and watching movies/ shows. My only complaint is the mouse pad. It’s like it gets stuck. I go to click and I can’t. I then have to find my Bluetooth mouse to move windows around on my screen.

This is a review to tell all buyers of this item to BE AWARE because they might receive a used product. I found out that the computer I purchased was used when checking the manufacturer's warranty page. A used computer being sold is new for the price of what a new computer costs is not a value for the money. If the computer I received was new and of the correct quality that I purchased, I would be able to write about the performance, power, speed, and noise level of the computer.
