I bought this for school-work but it doubles as a pretty decent gaming computer. The graphics card can run a lot of new games as well, but will need to lower the resolution quite a bit if you don't want to hear the fans turn on a lot.

I have been an HP guy for 18 years now. HP is not the same the last few years. This laptop is a replacement of the original, purchased about a ago and neither one of them lasted til the warranty expired. Fact is HP knows this, that's why they discontinued the entire line of Victus. It has me looking elsewhere for my next laptop ... show more

Not a good value for the price. The graphics card can barely play AAA games on the lowest graphics settings, not enough ram or CPU for simulation games... Overall I wish I would have spent a few hundred extra dollars and gotten something with at least a 4060 and 8GB of ram.
