The video and gamplay is equal to a xbox series x, and the overal feel of playing games on the computer feels excellent. The built im speaker's sound quality could be much better but it suffices. The batteries life is not that great but its not the worst, its is good for watching youtube and even work, however it does effect gameplay significantly if you don't have it on the included charger, and the battery will die within 1.5 hours if on a medium graphics game. I purchased this with high hopes for a seamless computing experience, given its impressive specifications. However, my overall satisfaction has been marred by several persistent issues that have significantly hindered its performance and usability. Battery Life: 1/5 One of the most disappointing aspects of this laptop is its abysmal battery life. With only 2.5 hours of work time, it falls significantly short of the expectations set by other laptops in its class. This limitation severely restricts its portability and usability on-the-go. Fan Noise: 1/5 A constant, annoying whistle from the fan has become a persistent companion during my usage. This distracting noise undermines the immersive experience promised by a gaming laptop and has a noticeable impact on the overall user experience. I decided to clean and reapply thermal grease on the processor and now the temps have improved. Performance Woes: 1/5 Despite boasting impressive specs, the laptop's performance has been subpar, evident in benchmark scores that lag far behind comparable models. The results from Geekbench (Single-Core Score = 946, Multi-Core Score = 4843) and Cinebench (Single-Core Score = 65 pts, Multi-Core Score = 285 pts) are considerably lower than expected, raising concerns about the laptop's overall capability and potential defects. I’m not really good at reviews but This laptop is fast and good it’s a good Xmas gift and if your on a budget and wanna do some light gaming I have not played a lot of games on it so far but so far it’s a good laptop in my opinion I recommend getting a cooling pad for it because sometimes it gets hot and not laying it down on your bed or somewhere that covers the intake vents completely I don’t really know a lot about gaming or laptops but if you just getting into gaming, I recommended this one I also recommend updating the Nvidia drivers with GeForce experience, and if you want, you can update the AMD drivers by googling, AMD drivers, then pressing Windows drivers also update the computer in settings and the hat about it for now just got this laptop and I think it’s great will do an update if I come across any problems I also recommend trying to get read of bloatware I haven’t yet and getting read of the apps that come with the computer the ones u do not need hope you enjoy the laptop ! ... show more

For almost $800 you can’t go wrong with this laptop, from the resolution to refresh rate, it’s an overall good laptop for gaming and other applications. Only problems I’ve had is the battery life which depending on your application can vary. I bought this laptop in early June specifically to run a high-graphics fitness game my existing laptop couldn't handle. Since then, I kept it plugged in on a little table in my workout room and have used it a few times a week for only this purpose. I haven't moved it since the day I set it up, nor have I downloaded any other programs or even used the internet aside from game updates. It's literally just a 2x-a-week gaming machine. This morning, about 3.5 months after purchase, the entire laptop turned off in a blink in the middle of my game session. There was no warning of the battery about to die, or any other error message. Just blinked-out in an instant. I've tried multiple chargers and outlets in different rooms and it will not turn on. I am sending to HP as it should be within the 1yr manufacturers warranty EDIT - When HP opened the laptop, they refuse to fix it without a $500 fee because the SSD and RAM was not HP SSD or RAM. They sent pictures of the actual parts which are labelled with different manufacturers. This voided the warranty, but was nowhere advertised that these WEREN'T HP parts or that a manufacturers warranty would be voided. Especially given that the seller listed is "The HP Store". Amazon is claiming that it is beyond the return date and so is refusing a return. There is no way to know how long the laptop will last before it breaks, and when it does your warranty will not be honored. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF TRASH. ... show more
