I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I received this laptop defective right out of the box. It wouldn't power on correctly, and there was visible damage to the laptop box and the device itself (see attached photos). Importantly, the outer Amazon shipping box was completely intact, which proves that the damage occurred before the item was shipped — not during transit. I returned the laptop immediately and paid $46.93 out of pocket for return shipping. Despite following all instructions and returning a defective product, the seller charged a $749 restocking fee, refunding me only $52.44 from a nearly $800 purchase. This is completely unfair and goes against Amazon’s stated policies for defective items. Do not buy from this seller. They do not take responsibility for their products, and their refund practices are predatory. I have filed a complaint with Amazon and initiated an A-to-Z Guarantee claim to recover my money. ... show more

This is a nice laptop, and the RTX 3050 performance exceeded my expectations. For those interested, the model is the HP 15-fa0xxx. The manufacturer's website indicates a maximum of 64GB of RAM, while HP officially states 16GB. I successfully tested a 32GB Crucial RAM module, and it worked without any issues. I've tested games like Cyberpunk 2077 on medium settings and consistently achieve over 60 FPS with DLSS enabled. However, despite being listed as new, the box arrived unsealed, with broken security seals and closed with adhesive tape. Additionally, it was missing promised accessories, specifically an ICP connector. While it's still a good gaming laptop, the fact that it was clearly opened and missing items is concerning. Keep in mind that optimal performance requires it to be connected to a power supply, as battery performance significantly decreases. ... show more
