I have always sought out PCs with AMD processors because I avoid monopolies. Intel has dominated the personal computer industry for many years. To the point they rested on their laurels. AMD worked hard on overcoming their also-ran status and upset Intel with the Ryzen processor. Suddenly, Intel had to come up with new processors to compete! I also prefer HP products, which is also why I chose this laptop to give to my wife. It's well made, quick to get up and running and works flawlessly. It's lightweight, yet very sturdy and strong.

I got this laptop a week ago and I love it as a backup laptop. I am surprised the build quality is so nice, and this laptop comes in a chassis that feels similar to an expensive MacBook with what feels like aluminum. The keyboard feels mushy but hey, it's a cheap laptop, they had to cut costs. The processor is better than I expected, compared to a more expensive windows surface. This machine will of course get basic work done, but this machine can provide you with a decent classic gaming experience on the side. I have not yet upgraded it but there is a second unused ram slot if you desire to use it. Overall it's a great side computer to complement a higher end machine, or for work.

Nowhere in this description will you see the product number. I received the 14-dk0028wm model. The difference between the 0024 and the 0028 are that the 0024 is the gold-tone and the 0028 is the silver-tone. I use Outlook on it and links sometimes will not activate Chrome. Also the F5 does not do refresh. This is because the function keys are used for various activities like screen brightness and volume. This can be turned off in the BIOS from what I've read. I've enjoyed sending games to it from my Xbox One, but the picture on my Sony 43" XBR is much better. It is interesting how you can access the console from the laptop or any decent Windows 10 device. This is a great computer and I thank youtuber ETA Prime for his video on it. Soon I"ll be updating the memory, which can go up to 32GB. Followup: I've upgraded to 16GB of memory, as well as upgraded the M.2 to a 1TB both made by Crucial. If you upgrade the M.2, make sure you get a SATA device. It is not NVMe. I happened to have one for a future computer build, but decided to try it in this computer. Worked out great. Way better than the 128GB which is stock. I was worried about upgrading Windows 10 with a new M.2. I had Windows 10 on USB that I bought for another computer, but it worked because this laptop is designed for Windows 10. I learned how to open the laptop on YouTube. I used a thick credit card-like ID card. Remove all the screws first. I learned how to add the memory and M.2 and all was a success. Great computer!

I've bought this product for a family member, and it was a great experience for them. So far, I haven't got notified of any issues since they have received the laptop. I also decided to test out the laptop itself before sending it off to them. When I first logged into the laptop for the first time, it was relatively responsive with very little lag. The speaker sounded average, but the performance was better than I have expected from any laptop at this price range. Screen quality can a little bit better as it can be somewhat difficult to look at after a while looking at the screen. The fan can be somewhat irritating, especially if you're in a very quiet room. But for this price range, you can't really complain too much. As a small laptop, you can easily carry this around without having to take up that much space. Overall, I'd recommend this laptop for anyone who is either new to computers, looking for a device for school, or wants a budget-friendly laptop to do business on.

Bought this for my mom, under normal circumstances under a normal user who doesn't smoke, doesnt go to bad websites and doesn't eat over their laptop this will do for a cheap daily driver website browser laptop. I strongly suggest getting something with more ram though, I think even without her computer illiteracy this thing would be chugging. If you're desperate to be terminally online and need a quick replacement this will do. Otherwise do yourself a favor and buy a stronger lappy. This thing is just weak.

Soooo obviously my name is Jenny Fisher, I received this laptop maybe 30 mins ago. I was setting it up and there was a sort where you put your name and it said Jenny Fisher so I assumed it was some sort of default name and deleted it and put mine, I had to restart it already because it froze when setting up a new browser, so when I went to log in it said Jenny Fisher. Apparently the factory reset this company did didn’t clear everything. I’ve seen others say that they received used laptops when it was supposed to be new. I’m gonna have to check the warranty now. I emailed the seller already. Goodness buy with caution Update, I checked the warranty and added the pic, it said it was activated 7/8/2019 just like another reviewer mentioned. The seller did contact me back very timely (same day) which was, however, nothing has been resolved as of yet. So we shall see

I needed this computer for my 10-year-old girl. I chose this configuration (AMD Ryzen 3 3.5GHz 4GB 128GB SSD Radeon Vega 3) because I have the exact config in another computer (ACER) which works great, and I know it would be a perfect fit for Video Chatting, Roblox, Minecraft, Homeschool, internet, Office... and until now it's doing a great job... I love the webcam, excellent quality picture. When I turn it on, its pretty fast. I did turn off the S mode, which is pretty easy. We are happy with it. I hope it keeps it that way.
