  • Amazing so far!
This computer is amazing so far! I got it a few days after Baldur’s Gate 3 came out and it is running really good so far! Love it! Sometimes the built in wifi adapter just stops working, but then starts working again. I would suggest and ethernet cable connected to your wifi router or just get a wireless adapter! Just have patience with wifi, cause wifi always sucks in general with anything. Really good computer. Recommend it, perfect for price. ... show more

  • Good product, but bad communication with the seller - TAKE BACK!!!!
I was looking for a PC to game with and wanted 32GB RAM. Yes, 16 will run any game today, but 32 will run some of them better. I contacted the seller to see what the model was since all the description said was "Pro Tower." I was wanting to go ahead and order the RAM as the cost of this system and the RAM added was still less than the ones I saw with 32GB RAM while keeping this graphics card. Rather than give me the model like I asked they just told me it would only handle 16GB RAM. I replied that I would still like the model number, that I found it hard to believe any computer system made after 2010 would only allow for 16GB. I found out the CPU models from someone in the Q&A section (buyers answered them, seller did not) and according to Intel, the CPU would support 32GB RAM. After a couple messages they did tell me the model number and looking it up online I saw that it would do 32GB total, that the 16GB was the dual channel limits, but there are two sets. So I ordered 4 sticks of 8GB and when I fired it up, it recognized all 32 and my Windows System app shows 31.7 available. The computer is really nice. The SSD main drive is fast. The GPU is good. By itself it was almost as much this whole setup. So overall I am happy with the product, but a bit disappointed in the knowledge of the seller about the product. I shouldn't have had to ask for the model more than once. It should have been listed on the technical/details portion of the listing. But in the end, I have what I want and it is working well. The rest was just a minor annoyance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A major annoyance now. I spent all weekend setting up my programs and porting over files and it was working great. And then Monday morning when I turned it on, blank monitors. I can hook a monitor up to the VGA port on the motherboard and it comes on, but the dedicated graphics card is dead. They are sending me a replacement, hopefully this one won't go kaput quite so quickly..... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Got the replacement unit in and the GPU wasn't even inserted into the PCI-E slot. When I went to plug in my monitor the entire card slid forward. I seated the card but the unit wouldn't power up. Not even a wimper. So, I am returning this one for a refund and am done with this shop. ... show more

  • Amazing first pc, especially on a budget or if you aren’t sure if you’d use it
Pros: runs everything I need it to, much faster than my laptop, easy to setup, great price for what it comes with, is upgradeable Cons: wifi attachment stinks, the keyboard and mouse are low quality, does not come with a monitor or speakers, but I didn’t buy this for any of those so it wasn't an issue for me. ... show more

  • Satisfied for the price.
Had my PC for a few months now, and its running in great shape. I play mostly Elder Scrolls Online, and Minecraft with Optifine, and boy is it fine indeed. Esp with shaders and texture packs that used to crash my old PC. I tend to take very good care of my PC's, so hope it will last another 5-7 years. Only issue I really had was the fact that I cant turn on my LEDs. I tried using customer support, and I was forwarded to Amazon techs, who knew nothing about the PC in general, and was no help. I read a customer got ahold of Tech Service, and fixed the LED issue, but never gave an explanation on how it was done. If I can get that info, I am willing to add the last star, as well as info for others on how to fix the front LED issue. PS: The lights are there, for I saw the LED strip when adding more RAM cards. But no switch. ... show more

  • READ THIS IF PC ISNT TURNING ON
I just bought one of these pc’s and I gotta say it runs beautifully, only thing was that in the beginning the pc didn’t want to turn on. It would constantly turn off and on in a cycle, so I got in touch with this stores customer service and they recommended unplugging it and taking one ram stick out (keep in mind if you don’t know how to do this please look up a video so you don’t mess up any internals) and after you take that ram stick out turn it on, if it turns on you can install the ram stick back in after turning it back off and unplugging it, (look up a video if you aren’t confident in installing the ram stick back in) I hope this helps you as much as it helped me! ... show more

  • Out of the box it's terrible, but it's a great foundation for upgrades.
It has a lot to like but also a lot not to like. It's a refurbished HP EliteDesk 800 G1. The Merlin board, the I7, and the GeForce GTX 1660 Super are great. I don't understand why they would pair the 1660, whose manufacturer recommends a minimum of a 400W PSU, with a 320W PSU. I ended up with random monitor flickers due to the underpowered PSU. The 16 GB of DDR3 were the first thing I replaced. They were slow off-brand sticks. The 1TB SSD is slower than most HDDs I've had. I don't know how that's possible. The FPS drops due to peak power usage and SSD lag were incredibly frustrating. Finally, the keyboard key caps faded within the first month. I've had this setup as a stopgap while I built a new custom rig, and the paint has worn off half the keys. I bought it March 22nd, it was delivered on the 26th, and it's now May 11th. In 46 days, not used daily, and at most for an hour per day, the key caps are all worn with many of them completely worn off. It will technically play the games listed in the description, that's true, but the FPS drops will drive you insane. It was easy to set up, and it's a nice start to something decent, but if you can't perform upgrades yourself, you may want to buy something else. ... show more
