It takes a little time when you start it the first time...just like any computer, answering language and where etc. Then of course checking and installing updates, again like any computer. All super smooth. The wifi and Bluetooth are usb singles but they work well, and if you want higher bandwidth a new, high quality card is very reasonable. Processor, memory, ports, slots, os, etc just as advertised. I had some communication with the seller, before the sale confirming a few things, and 1 queatiin regatding the wifi/bt card i want to add, and they are very responsive and helpful. This was the best deal, i found, in my price range, and it all went perfectly. I would recommend, and buy again myself in a heartbeat. Truly a great outfit. There were a few issues, although the computer works fine. It was advertised as shipping with keyboard and mouse. They were missing. Support is shipping replacements. Also, I ordered HP Desk PRO 600 but got 400. The 400 is missing USB-C and only has one Display Port instead of 2. Support offered a partial refund. The only contact information was on a label on the computer. A good value, good support. As I continued to use the computer, Bluetooth features seemed to be missing. It seems that is also a missing feature of the HP400. For about $10 I just ordered a Bluetooth dongle. If you order this HP600, make sure that is what you get before installing al your apps. This is one of many reconditioned products I have purchased from Amazon. And this desktop computer is outstanding. I did run into a couple of issues setting it up. So let me fill you in. First thing, there are 3 wireless USB adapters that must be plugged into the back of the tower. One for the wireless ability for the tower, one for the mouse and one for the keyboard. I found the wireless adapter for the mouse inside the battery compartment. The next issue I ran into is the keyboard was defective. It took some time for me to figure that problem out. My monitor screen, on whatever website I was on, kept flickering with a yellow cursor box everywhere. It acted like a virus was in the computer. Yet, thanks to Gemini, he helped me diagnose the issue. A defective keyboard really didn't matter to me, I had all the parts I needed to hook up two towers to one keyboard, one mouse and one monitor. The photo on Amazon's description of the rear of the tower is not accurate. I have attached a photo so you can see the rear. Just know that the output for a monitor is a display port. So, I had to order an adapter that converted display port to HDMI. This is a very inexpensive part that works great. My current desktop is Windows 7. I have had this tower since Windows 7 was released. So changing to a Windows 11 tower was frighting to me. Well, let me tell you this. Windows 11 is awesome. Very intuitive and takes some time to get to where want to go. Mainly because it looks nothing like Windows 7. I found the best thing for me was to PIN the most used features along the bottom of the toolbar. The setup was super easy. Although when it wants you to choose a PIN number for Microsoft, that number is the lock code number you enter every time to open your desktop . DON'T FORGET THIS NUMBER! Last thing, this is a full size tower. Not a compact. Full size! It works great, and it is super fast. I hope this information helps. At first it appeared to be a good nice quality product but it blue screened. After some debugging, there seemed to be no simple fix. I contacted Amazon and returned it at Staples. Staples ships via UPS. After 30 days, Amazon had still not received it back, so I had contacted Amazon and they had refunded my money. UPS is usually much more dependable than that. The Staples employee had very loosely placed tape on the box, though. I would have secured it better with tape. I hope whoever orders this product gets one that doesn't blue screen. I am giving one star because it blue screened and UPS evidently lost it. ... show more

Be aware of the most important connection issue - I had to go out to BestBuy to purchase an video adapter from the HP to the HDMI monitor cable I already owned. Amazon had one for 1/2 the price, but delivery was a week off. $17+ late at night and I could begin to setup the CPU. Latest Windows installed after a few attempts. This machine was not booting up properly EVER. I was ready to box it up and ship it back. THEN! Updated ALL drivers from HP Support, which was a time consuming process. Patience paid off, however. The CPU now boots up within 20 seconds - a HUGE improvement of 10 minutes or not-at-all status prior to updating ALL drives. If you are not computer savvy and need to have a tech do it for you it will be expensive because of time involved. So, if not savvy - then purchase a different CPU. I did purchase the ASURION warranty as the machine comes with only a 90-day warrantee and return window. It is a refurb. Now that it is up and running properly, I am comfortable with 5 stars. If I hadn't been able to do all the updates myself, it would have been a frustrated 1-star and a return to Amazon. ... show more
