I really like the SSD hard disk. Very fast. Windows 11 has a lot of glitches which took some time to iron out. It came with MacAfee virus protection which I immediately got rid of. I decided to use MS Edge and end my time in the Google universe. MS Edge is just as fast, maybe faster, and has some nice features like immersive reader that Chrome does not have. I use this mainly to connect to the internet and to use with QuickBooks. So fare its been flawless in every way, by far the easiest time I've ever had getting a new computer up and running especially getting QuickBooks going. There was some doubt about running QuickBooks Desk Top 2022 on a windows 11 machine, apparently some work and some don't, this one works great. Also a lot of people have problems importing a company from QuickBooks 2009 directly into QB 2022, I cant say why but using this computer it worked flawlessly, absolutely no hassle. I don't rely know if this is a QuickBooks thing or a computer thing but it all seems to be playing nice together. ... show more

I purchased this laptop in March 2022, on Tuesday November 1st 2022 I started to have an issue where the screen would go blue and the laptop would shut off. On the 2nd I called HP (as I had purchased a 3 year warranty with HP when I received the laptop) and found out the operating system had failed. After going through the process to download the Windows operating system and having it fail twice HP informed me that the issue would require me to send the laptop in for repair. After sending my laptop in I was informed by HP that the 1 TB SSD in the laptop was not an HP SSD and was an aftermarket SSD installed by the re-seller. I was told that the specification for this laptop is 512 GB SSD, and they would only be able to repair my laptop under my warranty with a 512 GB SSD. I then went back to the description of this laptop and see that they have used the terminology "Upgraded" in regard to the RAM and SSD; however, they fail to mention that due to this "upgrade" there will be issues if you purchase a warranty directly through the manufacturer. The thing I consider a scam is that I could have paid hundreds of dollars less if I had purchased this laptop with the recommended amount of storage per the specifications of HP. When I called the re-seller directly to explain this issue the representative I spoke with had no concern whatsoever and told me they could not transfer me to a supervisor, when I asked if that was because they were working remotely or just did not want to get up and knock on the supervisor's office door, I was hung up on. I will be reporting this seller to Amazon directly and I hope that if they continue to do "upgrades" with cheap aftermarket parts that they make it blatantly obvious to consumers to people can make more informed choices regarding their purchases. This is especially important for people like myself who work on a computer but who are not tech savvy. ... show more

Got this laptop 4 days ago. It is fast, very nice screen. I don't like the flat-key keyboard. I type nothing but errors but getting some better. The worst part was getting Windows 11 to work. Help from Carbonite and Microsoft helped me solve my problems so am very happy now. Very nice product with a lot of storage. Hope will last for years. ... show more

I absolutely love my laptop! This co.puter came highly recommended & I jumped on it. I use this computer for my career as a Digital Nomad. It is oversized but it makes it worth it since you have to stare at it all day.
