I think this was the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon (and as Amazon keeps inviting me to have a business account, it's quite a few purchases). I don't normally review unless a product is really good or really bad...This is really bad...Out of the box 9th September it seemed fine, although the graphics quality I thought could have been better, but after one month of use it has been crashing and giving a message "boot device not found" I reached out to Amazon and they said reach out to the seller, reached out to seller 2 weeks ago (with pictures), no response. I've updated it, storage isn'tfull, but keeps crashing literally every other day. And as it was to be a work laptop it's become very frustrating. Not worth it for the price will need to get a better laptop now as this one is literally the worst investment. Oddly it still comes on after a crash but not sure for how long that will happen, so now need to expense myself again to buy another new laptop. Do Not Recommend. Oh and I have had it for less than 3 months ... show more

Just a year after buying this computer, it completely crashed. I took it to a computer repair store and the technician called to say they had taken the HP computer and put a cheap, mass produced hard drive in it that cost no more than $10. It's not a brand associated with HP and was a cheap, inadequate hard drive that couldn't keep up with the computer. The RAM installed was off brand and a cheap 3rd party version as well. I've now lost all of my data and had to pay $400 to fix this computer. This company is a scam and a joke. I highly suggest you don't purchase anything from them. ... show more

Purchased this laptop for my older mother . She does minimal web browsing , and that’s about it . A couple weeks in and she mentioned the blue screen when she turns it on sometimes . With an IT background, obviously “blue screen” caught my attention . Well it turns out she’s getting the message I’m attaching whenever she powers up the device, and her solution to avoid it has been to put device to sleep instead of power off. Now , granted , the device does still manage to boot . But despite and IT background , I’m very disappointed at the idea of having to diagnose a brand new device I specifically spent big bucks so I could be confident my mother would have no issues … this is not amazons fault obviously , but it’s looking like hp support is going to be an extremely tedious process to simply open a support ticket, with lord knows how inefficient the process will be from start to resolution . Again, I don’t know that it’s even going to be a serious issue, but a brand new upper end device requiring diagnostics is just sad . My older ho laptop that’s due for replacement, well that I could understand . But now I’m having second thoughts on with whom I’ll be upgrading my mobile workstation with . ..(sigh) I know I should just dive in and diagnose or repair myself , to avoid a weeks long support ticket but the principle of the matter makes that a hard pill to swallow . I gave 2 stars , as HP and those involved should have oppurtunity to respond before total condemnation . Glad I haven’t pulled the trigger on replacing my businesss mobile workstations at the same time, otherwise I’d be 5k or so deep into the same issue company wide on even more expensive hardware . ... show more
