I have had this laptop for a little over a week and I really like it. It boots up fast and general operations are pretty fast as well. The finger print scanner is great, the screen is great (however may be too small for some) and the battery time is pretty good. You should be able to get through a regular work day on a full battery. Its an expensive laptop and I wasnt sure how I would feel once I received it but it has met and exceeded my expectations. I like the smaller bezels and how light it is. HD screen is beautiful. I almost paid the extra for the OLED screen but glad I trusted my gut because the HD screen looks great. I purchased this laptop “new”, however one end of the power cord (to the wall) was incompatible with the end that goes to the laptop, which overheated, in turn overheated the laptop. The fan never came on so it became extremely hot, the SSD in it did not have the OS installed on it. If I could give this seller zero stars I would. The bad thing is I was in the hospital for most of the return date time frame, so that expired before I figured out everything that was wrong with it. Purchases like these, you have to be extremely diligent in verifying it is what they say it is. 100%thumbs down ... show more

I really like how fast it boots up and the touchscreen aspects. It is a smaller screen than my previous computer but I wanted something more portable and light so I went with the 13. I think I will get used to it. The fingerprint reader seems to work well and I like the keyboard and look of the computer. I did not realize it did not come with an HDMI port so that is one thing I wish HP would have included as I use dual monitors but definitely not a deal breaker. ... show more

This is a great computer based on the specs that I was looking for. I came across a video that compared five laptops, then searched them on Amazon. Was originally looking at desktop but decided on laptop. Happy with selection overall, love the backlit keys, I usually working late so that feature works well for me. only missing touch screen. This computer has a pretty fast processor. I keep a lot of tabs open and it still moves fairly quickly. My main concern is that it isn't a touch screen laptop. I will take responsibility that I didn't check, but every computer I've had for the last 10 years, had touch screen capabilities. I didn't set it up immediately and missed the return window by 3 or 4 days! Also, no toggle switch to turn the camera off and on. You have to really hunt for the little slider over the camera. Mixed feelings. Would buy a new one if I didn't hate setup so much! ... show more
