An excellent laptop that exceeded my needs without breaking my wallet. Fast boot up and very responsive. Fairly good at multitasking as well, like most AMD processors. Only kinda “cons” are the charger, it’s bulky and the touchpad is a bit more sensitive out the box so you just feather your finger on it and it opens things or selects them. But no big deal. Keyboard is quiet, which is what I wanted. I own a Razer mechanical and wanted something that wouldn’t wake the dead. Screen is fairly bright and clear, I have noticed a few games or movies were kinda dim even at max brightness but most aren’t. Plenty of ports for various accessories and all that.     • Good machine but not what I paid for
Great machine but I paid for new and got a used one. The return process was a nightmare so I just kept it as I needed it for work asap.

    • A powerful and good looking laptop
This is overall a very good laptop. The display looks very smooth and sharp, and the design of this year's omen is great and isn't too "aggressive" compared to a lot of other gaming laptops. It's relatively light and has enough ports for any type of needs. Also, the keyboard is very comfortable to use and the material of the laptop seems to be of good quality (the screen does have some flex but the keyboard and "body" of the laptop are sturdy enough). Performance wise also, nothing to say: it can handle multiple tasks, it's fast enough, responsive and allows most triple A games to run at 60+ fps on the highest settings. Now it's also good to know that fingerprints get very noticeable on the laptop but can be erased with a microfiber cloth. Also there's a gap between the screen and the keyboard when it's closed but since its a plastic screen its probably nothing to worry about (but still good to know). The edges are a bit sharp when writing, it's not particularly uncomfortable I believe but it could be for some people. In terms of battery life, you can get around 3 hours doing usual tasks like writing documents on Word or watching Youtube videos on Normal mode. I assume you could get an extra hour with Power saving mode on, but yeah the battery isn't that great. Lastly, it's most of the time a quiet device, even though the fans can get a little loud doing basic tasks sometimes but it's never for more than 2-3 minutes. When gaming they do stay loud but it's nothing too loud it's pretty decent. Overall: I enjoy using this laptop everyday and it can handle pretty much anything you would wanna do wether it's for work or gaming. The only downside would be the battery life but this can easily be fixed with a portable charger. ... show more

    • Super fast, sleek, and just WOW
If you're looking for a gaming laptop, this one is fantastic. Unlike other big bulky gaming laptops, this one is slim, sleek, and very light weight. Perhaps the display frame could have been a bit more beefy, but, if you're fairly careful with your devices, this shouldn't be a problem. The AMD CPU is seriously quick. Display is bright, and responsive (@144 hz). Pricing on this unit is also great. If you're considering this laptop in your list of of possible gaming machines, don't hesitate.     • Good computer with bad QA
The laptop performs well and its price was good, but HP is notorious for bad quality assurance. Unfortunately this laptop is no different. It runs great and plays great, but the build quality is very poor with some manufacturing defects. Mousepad is finicky and doesn't always work well. On top of that the r and x key on the keyboard randomly stopped working (this is a common issue for the Omen 15). Plugging in a monitor through the mini displayport caused the wifi router to stop working completely (also a known defect), and trying to fix it caused my copy of windows to become corrupted. I had to spend several hours to wipe my hard drive and reinstall windows. Good laptop, bad quality. ... show more

    • Great Laptop for a great Price
It’s about time I leave a review on this and say that this Laptop has done me wonders over the year or so that i’ve had it! Still works great and functions as promised, has gotten me through college and even let me tinker around with softwares I couldn’t normally do on other laptops!

    • Great price for the specs, sleek and clean design, effective cooling
A great laptop for a reasonable price given its GPU, CPU, and storage. Can play games like League of Legends and Valorant with no issues! Doesn't get too hot. Overall aesthetic is great as well because it doesn't scream "gaming computer".
