Works well for the money. Getting a name brand laptop at under $300 is not easy, especially one of the well-known brands. Don't expect a high-powered, lightning fast machine. This is for perhaps an older person who may not have a great deal of computer experience or a student who needs his/her first laptop. Of course, HP (and most manufacturers) add their own bloatware which is not just annoying but slows down the processing. Just try to delete as much of it as possible and don't buy anything from any offers you may get (it just feeds the beast). If you need it for checking email, facebook and watching a movie, it is fine. Just realize it will not compare performance-wise to a $1,000 machine but then you are paying a fraction of the price. ... show more

Great laptop for personal use. Lightweight and nice battery life. Setup was very easy. My only negative is the keyboard and I think it’s just a personal preference. It’s extremely flat and has taken a while to adapt. Other than that it’s a good buy.

WARNING PLEASE READ!! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Don’t believe the five star reviews. Of course if you’re younger you won’t have any problems with this laptop because you wouldn’t know what to look for. But as an adult I thought this laptop was going to perform obit not at all super slow for the laptop itself. Opening apps, closing apps, playing games everything is slow. Even the start up is slow. I spent my money on this and regret the other options I could have went for. Main reason I went with this one a decent amount of storage and a little extra ram. I should have seen it had celeron and from what I read online that’s my issue of where the slowness comes from. My CPU isn’t there for this laptop. Pretty soon I already have plans of getting rid of this one and just getting a desktop that’s sad I’m already planning on having to spend more money. Somebody even said the computer seemed to be refurbished and not brand new it does give like it is since it lags so bad. Highly disappointed. ... show more

The quality is excellent, and the material feels durable, yet lightweight. I am carrying it all over my house everyday. One thing I noticed and appreciated the most is how good it functions all the time. I am doing my freelancing projects on it, opening many different sessions at the same time.
