This laptop came well packaged and looks brand new with just minor scratches and one tiny dent on the corner but nothing you would actually notice. The laptop started write up and windows 10 was activated easily. All of the peripherals worked fine. This laptop was built like a tank so it is extremely durable and great looking. The only problem I had was in updating windows 10 as you are so far behind it takes at least 3 to 4 hours to update the machine even with a good internet connection. I would warn people they need to persevere with this going to updates in the settings and keep rebooting and going to the trouble shooting section and let it do its thing but just don't give up and you will get there and be fine. It is not a hardware and software problem at all so don't be worried. I looked at new machines for the money I paid for this machine ($233) and they are all plastic junk. This machine is fast and quiet but it is a little heavy since it is so well built. I was a little worried about the reviews of refurbished machines of any kind that only gave you a 50/50 shot of getting a good machine but I was pleasantly surprised at least with these guys a got a great machine so far. ... show more

The specifications on this laptop have exceeded my expectations. I did get it on sale, but it is worth every penny. I have owned 5 laptops before this, and I will say that this laptop is the best I have had, along with the pack with an extra hard drive. 1TB internal and 1TB external saves me so much headache with work, school, movies/shows, and games! This makes my day-to-day life much easier with 32Gb of RAM. I have had 15 PDFs, 3 Excel spreadsheets, a Word document, Outlook, and 5 tabs open, and it never slowed the laptop down in the least. If you are in the military or have a workload that stacks high, this laptop can take the weight of waiting for loading off your shoulders! ... show more

Laptop is still working. The screen has a couple of spots that look whiter than the rest if the screen. The laptop was re-skinned, a bit off in some spots. Over all it has been reliable and is still working. Can't up date to Windows 11, to old.

I received a product that had "upgraded memory" without my permission or request. The product was not working correclty and I reached out to HP for assistnace, they wouldn't help becuase this "upgrade" voided the manufacturer warrenty. When I reached out to the seller to recieve help, I was told to send my laptop to Texas, at my own expense, with a note on what is wrong so they could "fix it." They did not give an explanation for why my "new" computer had a memory upgrade without my approval or request and did not explain how they would fix it or how long it would take. When I reached out to Amazon, they were very hepful and requested a replacement with proper specificaitons on my behalf, but the seller was less than helpful or forthcomming. I would NOT reccomend, why did I recieve a product with a voided manufacturing warrenty without my knowledge that it was anything but a new computer? ... show more

There is no camera on the laptop itself that i can see. Which is normal. I believe but it is indeed wonderful on its capability of handling games like viscera clean up detail on max stress. And it can handle heavy duty modpacks on minecraft which means the ram is at quality of refurbished and i did check the battery was replaced on mine. Which it last. Well enough for an older laptop . the storage space is more than what it says on it by a gigabitlte or five on mine which is good. I have a couple pixels on my laptop that has collour disorientation but not noticable that much playing games i have not used all its features like the desk mount. Or making it into having multiple monitores. Im thinking about upgrading the ram on it since its working which may invalidate the warnty. I dont know ...... In and all it is doing me a good service i just. Woried avout the views on here saying the batery may come in dead or it could be slow with what ive seen its in good condition. Theres even a light on it. Which is a weird function on it . i love the laptop itself and am glad to have it refurbished by the canadian rebfurbished company. From concord .... Id sugest getting it from them Any time. Make sure u go by companies that have loads of reviews and has a higher level of good reviews. If possible like the canadian refurbisher. ... show more

While my wife and I were doing some vacation traveling, she received a very good, quick start, short-term job offer that required that she have access to a decent computer. Not anticipating that she would be doing any work during our travels, she had decided to leave her high-end laptop computer at home. Since there was nobody in our home who had access to her computer to ship it to us, buying a computer or declining the lucrative job offer were her only two options. I chose this computer for my wife because the seller promised that if I ordered it on Friday, it would be delivered to us by the following Monday. Its advertised specifications appeared to meet my wife's needs except for a Webcam which I was able to easily and inexpensively add. This computer was delivered as promised, looking like new with a clean install of Windows 10. All of its internal components appear to be in excellent working condition. I was able to boot, register and configure this computer to meet my wife's needs, including removing the trial version of MS Office 365 and downloading and installing Microsoft Office Professional 2019 and some other support software. She is now using this computer to fully meet her professional needs for a not much greater cost than what it would have been for someone to insure and ship her laptop computer to us from home. From my perspective, as a former computer dealer, the seller did a good job of refurbishing this laptop computer, making sure that all of its components were in good working conditions with all drivers properly installed. I do not know of any new computer that would deliver this kind of performance for the same cost. ... show more
