  • Great for the $$
Great little laptop for my needs. Only wish it had a back lit keyboard.

  • S mode
Cheaper isn’t always better. I’m glad I read the fine print about turning off S mode. I would highly recommend doing the same.

  • Warranty with HP Not Supported
Great price, but once I ran into a BIOS issue 2 weeks after having bought the computer new, resulting from an automatic Windows/HP software update, HP would NOT support claiming Amazon Reseller had modified the original system from 4G to 16G RAM, voiding the 1 year warranty.

  • Find a Better Option!
While this computer was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and relatively lightweight, those were the only good things about it. Unfortunately, my previous computer broke down while writing my thesis, so I had to quickly get a new computer. I got it within a couple days- yay!! Further, this guy was very clunky- it constantly froze (after clicking or while typing), and things took a minimum of 10 seconds just to open. Searching the internet was also impossible. I don’t know if I was just unlucky with the computer I received, or if this is an issue with most, if not all, makes of this type. ... show more

  • Don't buy - cheaply built
The Shift and Control button constantly got stuck, making writing impossible. Also, the screen will go all black out of no where. It comes back, but it's annoying and makes you quickly lose faith in the laptop. I returned mine. I wouldn't buy.

  • Blurry Display
I have two laptops, one a dell, and this piece of junk. I can't even see crisp black text, because everything is blurry on the display. I've taken all the steps to fix this issue, and it's still not resolved. What a waste of $300 and I've only had this laptop for 7 weeks.

  • Broke after less than 4 months of usage
got this laptop in august for my online university coursework. its now december and last night after restarting my laptop it completely is unusable, it’ll turn on but the keyboard and monitor are dead.

  • Very disappointed
This laptop just feels too cheap and junky. It doesn’t have a side keypad and I can’t use the numbers just along the top. My fingers aren’t long enough. Very surprised at HP because they are usually the best! No thank you I’m sending it back!
