I build HP laptops as a living and when I received it everything was just thrown in the box, didn’t even come with the stylus like it said it would. Definitely a rebuilt machine because in the BIOS it states Insyde built the machine which is a third party Tech company and not HP. I don’t have a problem with refurbish but I paid for new. It’s possible they grabbed the refurbish laptop on accident because there was one used one listed for $600+. Overall displeased how they tried to pass it off. ... show more

Sometimes the keys stick, but I can just put it in tablet mode then back to laptop mode and it seems to reset it immedeately

    • LOVE the design, but battery life and camera are not good IMO.
I use laptops a lot - but mainly for light tasks, web browsing, word docs, a lot of zoom calls/recordings though. I feel like the battery life is NOT good at all just in the one week I've been using it. I looked up the specs on this amazon description, but can't see estimate on battery life so I've googled outside reviews and one said 12 hours, I def don't get near that. I even put it on batter saver mode just to extend battery life even when its almost fully charged (just because I know keeping it plugged in all the time is bad for the battery). Also I don't think the camera is good at all, the first time I used zoom on this my initial reaction is why was the quality so bad!?! I record on zoom a lot for my podcast and for educational videos - I wasn't expecting super HD but this is not as sharp as my old laptop this was supposed to replace as an "upgrade." I was replacing my Windows Surface Pro 4 that I had for 6 years and I'm not satisfied. I was so excited on the unboxing bc its a sleek sexy laptop and I felt like I was upgrading, but battery life and video quality are important. Also the volume is fine if its quiet in my house, but I have a 3 and 5 year old , so its rarely quiet... if I put the volume all the way up its still like I'm struggling to hear unless I put my headphones in. I really don't want to return this, that's such a hassle and I love the body, it types very well, it DOES have a backlit keyboard (unlike another reviewer said - you have to press F4) I'm just looking at settings to see if there is something I can do to increase battery life, camera quality, and volume (I know I can buy a external camera but it sucks to have to do that when I just spent on a device that should have adequate quality video). If anyone at HP is able to assist me that would be SO appreciated! I really think I must have been sent a bad unit because I cant comprehend otherwise how a computer like this should be less than a Windows Surface Pro 4 :-/ ... show more

The laptop was easy to set up and has enough ram to keep things running fast. I bought this computer specifically because it has (2) USB-C ports that are required to operate a (3) monitor screen add-on. The description didn't mention that the power cord uses one of these ports, so I am left with only one USB-C port. Very disappointing. ... show more
