I purchased the 2TB 1040 model, 16 GB. Out of the box it was flawless, with just a slight scratch on the hinge that is barely noticeable. Windows 11 loaded flawlessly. The only issue was the webcam microphone was barely working, but a Windows update seemed to resolve this on its own. Battery holds decent charge. This is my third Elitebook x360 and they are perfect for my work as a consultant. Unlike Dell and Lenovo, these HP models have an electronic privacy screen that can toggle off and on with a function key. It hides the screen content so even someone next to you at a conference table or airline seat can't read the screen. With the Elitebook 1030 Gen 2, turning it on dimmed the screen significantly, but with the G7 it dims only slightly which to me makes this the best ultrabook laptop to have. ... show more

My experience with ITREPLAY began on Nov 13 when I made an initial purchase of their HP Elitebook x360 1040 G7 for my spouse. The device came as described which motivated me to purchase another device for myself. This device would be ordered through Ebay (Nov 16th). My initial concern was that they had multiple listings by way of their Amazon store and Ebay store that consisted of the same product description listed by ITREPLAY, however listed at a varying degree of prices. This was brought to the company's attention with very little explanation as to why this was a thing. Though reluctant I proceeded with the order due to the initial laptop ordered. Unbeknownst to me, it would arrive defective, not representative of its advertised condition "Excellent". The item was repackaged and returned (Nov 27) and another order was placed and delivered (Dec 10th). The second device arrived in perfect condition, but did not have Windows properly installed, which ultimately cause the laptop to be merely a shell due to no operating system being put in place. After coming to a reasonable solution, I was able to get Microsoft installed and run some trials to confirm the device to be in fact operational. Shortly thereafter it was discovered that the laptop would have BSOD error messages that would occur causing the laptop to sporadically shutdown on a consistent basis. This was communicated in a timely manner. Due to the lack of communication matters was then taken into my own hands to begin to troubleshoot the situation leading up to the holidays and throughout to which I began narrowing down troubleshooting methods by trial and error though I'm not a technician. After connecting with a certified technician in my spare time it was confirmed that he could in fact clear these error messages at a cost but overall, the device is functional. In efforts to obtain an inconvenience fee due to basically having to repair a device that did not come as it was advertised, my request was declined...which I found to be unreasonable. I am completely dissatisfied with overall customer experience and would recommend that anyone looking to purchase, please do so with caution. After no help of ITREPLAY I am on day 4 of no shutdowns/BSOD error messages and may now have what appears to be a fully functioning laptop. Not worth the value, not worth the time. Laptop shipped and arrived to me pretty fast than I expected. Love this laptop, everything works. Windows 11 pro already installed. All features work. Battery charge holds wells. Everything as described. What I was happy about was that the screen and keyboard had plastic covering, felt like a new buy. Overall extremely happy, thank you. Works fine, but feels cheap. Has minimal ports. My hp 360 pavilion was far superior and was only a core i3. In comparison this new one feels like a cheap Black Friday tv. Best way I can describe.

I purchased this laptop for school and was extremely disappointed with this purchased. Some of the keys are not displaying the right image, when you press shift and 2 you get (") open quotation marks instead of @ symbol.
