This Chromebook is, overall, pretty good. The ports are in good shape, the keyboard works fairly well, and it looks decent. However, there's a wrap on the device that makes it appear better than it is. The wrap on the Chromebook was bubbled up along the edges when it arrived, isn't lined up properly, blocks some of the screw holes, and obscures the serial & model numbers on the bottom. The wrap does detach along the edges and at the places where it was bubbled up, but I can reaffix it temporarily. At some point, I will remove it and see what the device truly looks like. The trackpad doesn't work most of the time. If I restart the Chromebook (or sometimes log off) it will work when it restarts for a few minutes, and then stop working again. I've tried several 'fixes' online. I'm hesitant to remove the back case since the wrap obscures the screw holes and I don't want to Pros: Battery life is good Device boots and operates well While the screen is not intended for watching videos in high definition, it's better than a phone and very portable, and not as hard on the battery as I expected Cons: Trackpad is only operable about 20-30% of the time so a mouse needs to be used The top left keys often stick, and need to be pressed much harder than normal to work Peeling & unaligned wrap (& that there is a wrap) Note: The wrap is neither a pro or a con yet. I expect that it will reveal some additional blemishes when it loses it's stick at the points where it does lift, and when it does I'll peel it off. ... show more

You get what you pay for. Works well enough to play music, youtube videos, and simple homework. Minor cosmetic wear and runs a little slow but I can deal with it. I was looking for something I can just turn off rather than use my desktop.
