    • Works well, but a few persistent issues
This Chromebook is, overall, pretty good. The ports are in good shape, the keyboard works fairly well, and it looks decent. However, there's a wrap on the device that makes it appear better than it is. The wrap on the Chromebook was bubbled up along the edges when it arrived, isn't lined up properly, blocks some of the screw holes, and obscures the serial & model numbers on the bottom. The wrap does detach along the edges and at the places where it was bubbled up, but I can reaffix it temporarily. At some point, I will remove it and see what the device truly looks like. The trackpad doesn't work most of the time. If I restart the Chromebook (or sometimes log off) it will work when it restarts for a few minutes, and then stop working again. I've tried several 'fixes' online. I'm hesitant to remove the back case since the wrap obscures the screw holes and I don't want to Pros: Battery life is good Device boots and operates well While the screen is not intended for watching videos in high definition, it's better than a phone and very portable, and not as hard on the battery as I expected Cons: Trackpad is only operable about 20-30% of the time so a mouse needs to be used The top left keys often stick, and need to be pressed much harder than normal to work Peeling & unaligned wrap (& that there is a wrap) Note: The wrap is neither a pro or a con yet. I expect that it will reveal some additional blemishes when it loses it's stick at the points where it does lift, and when it does I'll peel it off. ... show more

I can not believe this is what was sent to me. I ordered an hp Chromebook described as great refurbished condition. I was sent an old cracked and broken dirty windows tablet with a dirty well used keypad. It’s disgusting. Touch screen doesn’t work and came with no charger. Quality is unusable. I've bought 2 chromebooks so far and both have been great. They function as needed, no noticable physical damage to the devices themselves. The charger however was a bit banged up, not anyhow affective to its usage. One was packaged exceptionally, in a bubble wrap laptop case. The other, though, was not protected at all! While this device is usable I definitely would not call significant cracks and gouge in the outer case "excellent" condition. It will work for the time being, thankfully it cost efficient.

I’ll have had this computer for a year in April and it has never given me any problems! I bought it in “excellent” condition and it was in excellent condition. No scratches except for one little blemish on the corner, which is no big deal. It has never given me any technical problems or anything. It has always worked great.
