I've had this laptop for several months now, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The transition from my very old HP laptop to this one was a piece of cake. It's infinitely faster and has an infinitely better display resolution. It has more storage than I figure I'll ever need. This is a gamer-level laptop, which I bought even though I only use it for office functions (email, document editing, etc.) and web browsing. I think this one is going to last as long as my last one did; I only got rid of it when I heard that the support for Windows 10 was going away. And the Amazon price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this purchase.

DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE

When I bought this machine it was listed under seller Tech Ontrend. Yesterday it wasn't. Dont know about today. Bought machine in June but did not start using it until August. In one month, the machine started having problems, Within six weeks the hard drive was corrupt. More importantly for you, you are buying a machine altered by a third party. Your warranty with HP is void, they will not help you. Ontrend gives you the runaround. Amazon giving me mixed messages from one day to the next and now will not help. I did not want a "fixed" machine or a new altered machine from them. Would you? I wanted a refund and they are using the 30-day excuse even though this is deceptive marketing and selling practices. Putting together business case for better business bureau and making an appointment with attorney. In doing this messages with seller are listed, my notes to Amazon aren't. Trying to get around their website with formal request for all data on my account. I may not get anywhere but I'll feel a bit better.

You get what you paid for, but not in a negative way

Not much to complain about except for the keaboard, which does not light up. It's one of those small details you don't think much about until you experience the convenience of it and regret not having it when it's not available on your new device, and therefore - the 4 star rating..

Very expensive paperweight

What a disappointment overall.. Thought I was getting something that was going to be great and it ended up being a total flop and paperweight. Never will I order any type of upgradable equipment that is done by a third party and sold by Amazon. I am so upset of the blank screen issue. Amazon to keep your reputation as a good company you need to stop selling electronic equipment upgraded by another company or a third party that is not willing to take full responsibility to replace or take care of any big issue that arises. I have a laptop that paid over $2000 for it to be a big paperweight. So so disappointing… I hate this. Never again. It would cost me more money to return and pay for its shipment and who know how long they will have it before fixing the issue. This is a load of crap!!! Never again!!!!!!
