I love this laptop! The storage is amazing, 1TB gives me plenty of space for all my school files, work apps, and everything in between. It runs smooth and fast, and I’m able to have multiple apps open without any issues. The only thing I noticed is that the fan can get a little loud sometimes, but it’s not a dealbreaker. The only real downside is the battery life, it doesn’t last long, so I keep the charger nearby. But overall, it’s a solid laptop. Super happy with my purchase! ... show more

This is a solid laptop for the price. It's fast and has adequate battery life. Definitely delivered as a laptop for doing school work and streaming videos. The setup was easy and straightforward. I opted to buy Microsoft as offered for $100 per year because my Microsoft and Amazon emails aren't the same. It looks sleek and thin and connecting to wifi and Bluetooth is a breeze. The cons: the mouse pad lags some times when using excel but nothing that the arrow buttons won't fix. Also I found having to click fn before using any f buttons ( like f4 to lock cells or f2 to change file names) is a little annoying. ... show more

I have had this laptop about a week so far, and I have no complaints. I use it for creating 3d prints and other things, and it works great! I had no issue with the easy setup. It is easy to use! The keyboard is great! Screen is clear! Would definitely recommend this laptop to others!

I have had zero battery issues, I have received it a couple of hours ago, which were spent removing bloatware, unwanted apps, and uploading my stuff. Battery issues still half full. The keyboard texture is uncomfortable to me ( feel grainy). The “on” button is randomly placed. My last HP was silver with a silver and extra smooth keyboard, and the keys were slippery and hard to see. Looks like they over corrected the issues (my first HP was great). The biggest issue is the trackpad. It is sluggish, sometimes unresponsive, and the cursor disappears. My wrist and forearms are aching from the effort of setting up this laptop. Adequate laptop for gaming. It can run most games that are playable from Steam (non streaming 2025). I've played No Man's Sky, Lightyear Frontier, Towers of Agasbah, Palworld, Starfield and others of that caliber. I stream XBOX game pass with no hiccups and it connects to Microsoft Games. Three cons: battery life, loud fan and Microsoft. All aforementioned are self explained. Microsoft software/ bloatware took what can be a great laptop experience and ruined it. It needs to be updated out the box and it continues to update even when you disable auto update. Their 2 step authentication is mentally draining and time consuming for no reason. The software NEVER remembers your information so you have to constantly log in even after short term use. DO NOT ALLOW FOR PIN LOG IN. I learned this from my other Microsoft based laptop. It will log you out every time you close and will claim your password is invalid. If you're not using this for strictly entertainment and you need to lock your devices, this is not a good choice for a personal laptop. I put legs on this laptop because it gets extremely hot. It has never cut off for over heating but I do keep it on a cooling mat. The fan runs from the moment you turn it on. If you can't stand the fan running as background noise, this is not the laptop for you. I opted for the non touch screen version but the screen itself is good with great color saturation and no real glare. The backlit keyboard is a nice add on but I do not use it very often. The built in front facing camera is basic but keeps you from looking like you're streaming on a 2010 laptop. If you do plan on using this device for social media you may want to upgrade to an external camera. For the price point it's a good laptop for a casual to intermediate player. If you can get past the Microsoft harassment it could be a fine everyday PC. Laptop is made well and has some heft to it. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth work excellent and I have connected an Xbox controller with no issues. I'm on the fence about recommending as it has some quirks it has may annoy some. I bought it in anticipation for a new game possibly releasing in 2026. I'm hoping this won't be obsolete when it drops. There are better options but if your on a budget this is an ok device to get you started. ... show more
