Very happy with this purchase. Have been using for 6 weeks now for basic web surfing and watching some videos (YouTube, Prime, etc). Works well as a standard laptop and in a tablet mode. Touchscreen is responsive and works well 99.9% of the time. Once in a while a browser tab won't close with the touch of my finger; my be related to the sensitivity of the screen itself and the fact that the 'x' isn't that large. This 11inch HP is the perfect device for me as a creative coach and freelance designer. It's my second small convertible touchscreen laptop, cost far less money than my first and with every bell and whistle I currently need. It's incredibly versatile and a great option for anyone on the go for work or school. There are two cameras and the clarity of the main cam is phenomenal! I get compliments on how nicely I'm lit when using it. The camera for tablet view is just to the left of my left hand - so you don't have to juggle between them when it's folded back. One can be on the subject and one on you. I haven't played with it much, but it's a cool feature. The touchscreen is very user-friendly. It has Windows 11 and it's as fast on startup and during use as is claimed in the offer. Worth every penny for bootstrapped coaches and entrepreneurs struggling to get work done on an older laptop. I thought about it for about a week because I was considering a more expensive pc, but if I needed to buy for someone else or for myself - I'll be looking for the latest refurbished model just like this one! ... show more

Lap top appeared to be in great shape. However, when you turn it on, it starts showing an error but asks you to press enter and continue. After you press enter, it asks you to connect to the internet. It connects to the internet but disconnects immediately and asks to connect again. It happened over and over. I tried different internet networks and got the same result. My internet is business internet and so the connection is pretty solid. There is no option to skip the step or go back.     • Not a bad 2-in1 laptop
I got this to replace another 2-in-1 laptop that developed a bulging battery. This laptop is substantially heavier and the bezel is much larger, but I figured that going in. Functionality-wise, the laptop works well. It is fast enough for what I do and it DOES take a charge through the USB-C port. Everything seems to work fine and it looks good enough for being a refurbished laptop. I am able to stream video for around 7 hours on a full battery charge. I am not sold on Windows 11 in general, but after disabling Secure Boot, I was able to run Ubuntu 22.04 without any issues. Under Ubuntu, the sound and screen rotation work perfectly and the on-screen keyboard comes up when opening LibreOffice. I may end up using Ubuntu on it instead of Windows 11. Ultimately, I am happy with this 2-in-1 laptop, especially for the price. ... show more

Purchased 01/2024 Reviewed 04/2024. Preliminary review: 1. Item received nicely packaged to prevent damage during shipment 2. Overall impression of item when unwrapped: Good looking device - apparently a "skin" was applied to it to coverup any scratches, etc -- liked the look of the skin, slightly textured in appearance & helps with gripping the device. However, not sure of the ability of skin to stay on with prolong handling, one corner of laptop skin keeps pulling away from corner. Solution - I put the laptop in a protective case, which also protects laptop if it should drop/fall 3. Setup & operating laptop - setup was easy & have experienced no issues with operating the laptop with the exception of adopting to a new/revised way of accessing information. The windows platform was different on my old HP & I found myself stumbling around trying to find out where to go for stuff like settings, download, documents, volume control - etc. but I've been able to retrain myself to the new setup 4. I miss the volume control button that was on the side of the laptop on my old HP, that was so simple to use, but I have since found out I can us the Fkeys to control volume 5. Great speed downloading & uploading, for websites & pages on websites 6. Vibrant colors on "desktop" type pages & when watching videos, mostly I watch YouTube but have also connected to other internet video services, as I want to use this when traveling for entertainment videos 7. Can't comment on gaming, as I don't do it, but from what I've been using it for would say this could be used for school or job related use 8. Battery lasts a long time, like the raised keys on keypad area 9. Disappointed in the amount of storage on the actual device, my old HP had 1000gb on hrd/drive & this has only 128gb, which seems to be a trend on devices (limited hard drive storage) but when deciding to get this I decided I would use a usb drive & transfer stuff I needed or wanted to keep, so having usb ports was important [I know you can get larger hrd/drive storage, but then the price goes way up] Finally, I was very impressed with this "renewed" item. I didn't know what to expect when I opened the box, but overall item appearance & performance has made me glad I took a chance on this. ... show more

    • Vendor sent a laptop that was DOA.
First laptop experience: This 1st purchase get a 1 Star review. Purchase a refurbished 11" HP 2-in-1. What I received was a DOA laptop, that was not even close to what I ordered, and paid for, from: Sold by: RightChargers. This is the 3rd party seller. My huge mistake. This was a dud purchase. However, I had a great supervisor from Amazon to make this right. Took care of the issue immediately, professionally, who knows what customer service is all about. Supervisor provided a return label for the first purchase that was a DOA piece of junk, and Refunded my money so I can repurchase a 2nd laptop from a reputable vendor. 2nd experience: This is the reason for a 5 Star. I bought a second laptop from one that was fulfilled by Amazon, with fantastic reviews. This 2nd purchase was great, looked new, and more importantly it worked beautifully.     • Failed laptop audio that seems to be a hardware failure.
This laptop was working with no problems for nearly 11 months. However, the audio failed recently, both output and input. I tried to reinstall the audio drivers but they would not install. I suspect thid is a hardware failure. So now I have a laptop with no audio. I have an Assurion 4 year protection plan and want this laptop replaced. ... show more

It has become necessary for me to return this item. Complete lemon. I received this item, attempted to download files unto it and then it shut down.
