I'm very happy with this laptop. There's a few problems I've run across, like Windows not updating. I've had to find workarounds in order to make it work. I honestly can't say that has anything to do with the laptop itself and more to do with Windows. I've noticed there's a lot more shortcut keys on this than I've ever had before. Once I learn what they all are, it's really going to be a major game changer. Over all, this is an excellent computer. Huge hard drive, tons of memory, touch screen is awesome... The only thing that I'm not happy with is the fingerprint 🫆 reader. Most of the time it won't unlock with my fingerprints. I've added multiple fingers, tried everything, and it just doesn't work well for me. ... show more

don't buy this laptop it only lasted 6mo since the warranty expired had to take it to get it repaired costing another $300 tyo get it wo work no more pc from amazon can't trust them on what's being advertised would lioke to get a refund on over price laptop

UPDATE: No word yet from PCOnline seller. Since most laptops have one year warranty, thought maybe I'd be better off dealing with HP directly. Entered in my serial number. Hmmm .... says the laptop was purchased in August of 2023, therefore the warranty ended in August of 2024. So I'm thinking I was sold a used / returned item. Which really stinks. ADVICE: if you have recently purchased one of these from this seller, do yourself a favor and head on over to the HP website https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/detect/results and see if the purchase date matches when *you* purchased your laptop. The laptop *finally* recharged itself back up to 84% after 36 hours of charging. :( And in three hours, back to 12%. Bought this in May, feeling like $888 for 64GB RAM was a smokin' hot deal. Last week, battery would not fully charge. Then a few days ago, it went from 56% down to 1% in about four hours ... even though it was plugged in. Siiiigh. Went to Best Buy, ponied up money for a new charging cord. Nope. Stayed at 1% for two days. Don't be cheap with yourself. You get what you pay for. ... show more

I received this laptop last week. So far so good. It's processes fast. The large screen 17.3 inches is very nice. I have wanted a large touchscreen for years now I finally have it. The battery is just not impressive. It's not heavy. Very slim and sleek. Love the rose gold color. Back lit keyboard is also nice. And the fingerprint reader is a unique added feature. for some, this may not be important, but everybody’s entitled to express what they did not like about the item they received I chose this computer because It had the specs that I wanted -cosmetically I liked it apart from one thing, and this is why I’m upset. The HP laptop that I’m replacing I chose because I like that type of keyboard. I like the finish on the silver keyboard. I like the way it looks and that’s just my preference. I feel that the darker keys are less sensitive. I chose this Is this keyboard and I purchased it based on what I saw in the ad and in the ad the actual keyboard pictured had silver keys. Mine does not Apart from having to apply a little more pressure to the key the backlighting in the keys is inferior to my 2021 Hp and nowhere as bright as the silver keyboard . . so my issue is, I expected to get the exact same keyboard set up as that pictured in the ad. When I opened it, I was already disappointed because I had a friend that had an HP with these darker keys and I felt that they had a different feel and they do feel different - I prefer the lighter touch needed for the silver ones as opposed to these ones that require more of a typing pressure ... show more
