If you're like me, you're probably going back and forth among all the endless options of affordable laptops on Amazon. If it's within your budget, I would recommend this laptop or just one from HP. It's very, very quick, quicker than my main desktop. The only thing I experience, similar to some of the other reviews I saw prior to buying, is that it does "feel like" it dies fast. I put feels like in quotes cuz I'm not sure if it's me just not realizing time is flying by or if it's an actual deficit of the product. Nonetheless, the performance and speed and plus of the screen size more than makes up for it. For my all day work days, it'll last from 11am-4pm/5pm before I have to plug it in and charge it. Oh and I mainly just use it for work so mainly utilizing Microsoft office stuff and the internet. In the review it's asks me to rate its touch screen?? ...there's no touch screen, at least with the model I purchased. UPDATE 06/2024: This product failed me within the first year. A complete waste of money. I know my reviews seem very cheerful, but I was just deprived from needing a laptop that operated quicker than my main desktop. However, the touchpad went out within the first 6 months and officially was defective as I neared my first year. The worst part about this is the customer service. The warehouse itself is in other chaos and has no idea how to manage conflict resolution or customer support. I've been waiting for more than 2 weeks to get just a simple update that they received my laptop after returning it and shipping it back. When I called them today, the same woman that struggled to do her job and helping me initially set up the return had nothing to offer me after 2 weeks. She also claimed that there are no supervisors or anyone else that helps her in that warehouse like. Please for the sake of myself and others, look elsewhere for a laptop. I've had this laptop since October and am very pleased. Had an issue I thought may require removing the battery for a re-start. Turns out I did not. But, I flipped the computer over to see the screw locations and noticed a missing screw of the 4. 3 of the screws were actually loose and I tightened. Contacted HP and was told essentially it was my problem and I should buy a replacement locally. Disappointed with that. That's the reason for just 4 stars. C'mon HP, billion-dollar company. I have been surprised that this is an HP product!!! As of this writing the unit is not functional and in general poor quality in every aspect. The keyboard characters have faded to the point where they are not clearly visible at 30 cm. The initial boot sequence has been very slow progressing to the point of a near standstill. When operating with the wireless network it's access was very slow as compared to my old Lenovo G510s which remains my only fully functional laptop. I will be taking my concerns up directly with HP. ... show more

Received the computer and had a blue screen error the first day. Hoped it was just a fluke and rebooted and it worked for a few days. Spent $100 and installed MS Office on computer so lost that $$. Continued to have multiple errors on blue screen and we could not fix by doing PC repair. Highly advise not purchasing this PC. If you do buy it, DO NOT spend any money on additional software as you will probably be returning it and be out the money!! ... show more
