First of all 5 stars on the shipping. Ordered Thursday morning received Friday afternoon. Pro's Most sellers out there are selling pcs with Windows10 in S mode this one came with the update already done. I run some very memory intensive programs and this laptop breezes through them. If your looking for a light weight this is definitely the laptop. The screen is a nice size and has a blue light filter which makes it easier on the eyes. Cons . Wish it had a backlite keyboard not a deal breaker cause most of the time I'm using a USB keyboard and mouse. A couple more USB ports would be nice also. They did send a USB hub as part of the deal. This thing is very lightweight with a plastic case. If you have kids playing with it I can see it possibly getting broke. Now the major pitfall is the hinges for the screen seem really weak. Over time this may become an issue. Overall though very happy with the purchase. ... show more

I received the laptop on time and did not start it since I was traveling to Costa Rica. When in Costa Rica I opened it and started it. The HP logo came up and told me to wait, then when black. I could tell the screen was still on, but there was nothing on it. I contacted HP support and was on the phone for about 2 hours they told me that my computer was out of warranty, which they fixed, (they said it was manufactured in 2020) and 2) all their diagnostics that we did pass. I needed to then reload windows and other drivers and chipsets. Remember...this is on a new computer. Since it is going to be a while until I go back to the States, returning was not an option. I received a detailed procedure with links on where to go to download and what to download on a flash drive to boot from. I did not have a flash drive, nor did I have a working computer. I gave the laptop to a local friend who is knowledgeable and he fixed it after three days. It works nearly perfectly, but when I go to shut down, the screen does shut down, but I can tell by the drive light that it is still on. So, I have to hit the button to turn it off. I will look online when I get caught up to search online if this is an HP thing and maybe there is an easy fix. So, a mixed review. I got the configuration I wanted and on time, but it was not a working computer, and took much work to get it functional. So, I am up and running, but not without a lot of stress.
