All the reviews that complained about how slow this machine is are true. I read them, and thought they were from people who had no idea how to set up a computer and fouled up somehow. I've owned and configured at least four desktops and another four laptops since my first PC in 1988. And I've lost count of how many friends and family members whose problems I've solved. In short, I know what I'm doing. The initial setup went routinely. But downloading and installing software took forever. The lag times were horrendous. I was able to download a few ordinary programs; getting them to run was grindingly slow. I checked the settings and saw that there were several important security updates that needed to be downloaded. And that's where I gave up. I tried downloading the most recent update to Windows 11. The download failed the first two times, after almost an hour each time. On the 3rd attempt, the download was successful, but the installation failed. There were still three other important security updates; I tried downloading them and they all failed. So it was time to do a reset. I uninstalled the four programs I had been able to download, then did a factory reset. Clicking the buttons to start the reset took me about 5 minutes. It then took over 2 hours for the laptop to finish the process. Physically it's a lovely computer - nice red color, and even though it was a renewed laptop, I saw not the slightest scratch on it. Yes, I returned it to my local UPS store. And it appears Amazon has already refunded my credit card, which is nice. ... show more

    • Microsoft 11 SUCKS!!
I just got this and it runs slower than molasses in winter. Then I figured it was because it runs on Microsoft 11 which is just killing the processor. I researched some youtube videos and after spending an hour shutting off a million apps running in the background on MS11 I finally got to where it is running at decent speed. This laptop only has about a 1 GHz of processing speed, which is slow for 2022 so I still may return it but MS 11 is the overall culprit in making my initial usage a miserable experience. ... show more

I use this computer to work from home, it is very good and its big screen makes good for a work from home job, I wouldn’t recommend for gaming because it could take up a lot of space and it can slow down the computer. Other than that the computer was a good purchase
