Horrible customer service. Unit failed after 8 months and HP refuses to repair it without payment. No local service centers, all support is in India only. I’ll never buy HP again, NEVER!!!!!! Horrible company.

I am writing this review using this laptop, which I have had since Nov 2023. I like that it is light-weight and easy to carry around. The touchscreen feature is a plus and I really like the backlit option for the keyboard. I can't speak for the battery life, as I typically use it plugged in and when not, only for brief periods of time (like an hour or two). My one gripe is that earlier this year, I had to get the hard drive replaced. For a product that was less than 1 1/2 years old, I would have expected a lot more. It's not like I'm doing heavy-duty work here that would require a lot of processing power for sustained periods of time. It typically sits in our home office where I use it for email, web-surfing, etc. Since I had to replace the hard drive with less than 18 months of use, I would say that this was not a good value for the money. ... show more

The listing clearly says 2023. However the box the computer says 2022 model. The listing is misleading into making us believe it is the latest model, but it is not.

    • Purchased from Amazon & having issues with cursor
I purchased this in August of 2023. It worked fast for a few months, but earlier this year the cursor started violently jumping around. It took forever to get the seller to repair & return the laptop. Even then, they forgot to send my power cord so a replacement one had to be mailed to me. I started using my laptop again, but it's having the same issue of the cursor jumping around. Clearing the cache seems to help temporarily, but I need this for work & don't know what the permanently solution is. I'm very disappointed after spending $800 on this supposed "upgrade." ... show more
