Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had with a computer, don’t make the same mistake I did with this purchase. This computer broke down on me within a month of use. It took me multiple times to get customer support. The first time I was actually able to reach somebody it took me two hours. Had to ship the computer back. They don’t have parts and advised it will be months to return. HP customer service is the absolute worst. I’m still dealing with them now. They’re now telling me it will be May before I get it back. I sent it to them in Feb. Worst customer service ever. I recommend that you never buy an HP Product ... show more

    • Disappointed in quality and difficulty to obtain technical support/customer service
I received the laptop in Nov. 2024. Within 1-2 months, noticed that it was noisy, fan running a lot but otherwise it seems to be fine. Within a few months randomly unable to access internet. Local tech. identified that CPUs running at 100%, suggested trying a different browser instead of Microsoft Edge. Couldn't do any anything to fix since its under warranty. Helped for 2 weeks and now issue back again. Have spent 4 days trying to get ahold of someone with HP Support to resolve this. The serial number if not a personal laptop but business notebook. But the AI doesn't recognize Serial # & spent 2 days on the line to get anyone who could get me to the correct department. Finally spoke to tech. who may have identified issue (need to reinstall Windows 11). But can't do this remotely with the HP255. So now need to wait for a thumb drive to do the fix. If doesn't work then need to send to HP to resolve. Take 1-2 months to fix it. Also, questioned why the Warranty appeared to have started in June, 2024, not November. Apparently the seller had not updated it to my purchase date. I've submitted invoice and pic. of Serial number to HP to have it updated. Still waiting to see when this will be corrected. I didn't want to spend a lot for a everyday laptop, but overall I'm not impressed with the quality or the service. The latest technician has been very helpful but after almost 8 months I'm disappointed in the quality of this product. Hopefully the thumbdrive and reinstalling Windows will fix this. ... show more

I like the external hard drive has a very short cable but it works very well speed looks good so far Very light weight I would recommend to anyone looking for a great computer I do miss the CD drive but thumb drives work
