I like the color and smaller size. I received it in one day. I do miss a lighted keyboard, but I'll get used to it. The set-up took me a long time; tedious, but that's probably just me. I thought it came with virus protection, but not sure; ignore the "new McAfee" purchase emails if you already have it on your previous computer. I had to add this laptop by phone since I was getting emails from Dell and McAfee, and I didn't know which was which. Calling McAfee was more helpful than HP in this regard. This laptop takes longer to boot up than my Dell did. Microsoft 365 is already loaded. All in all, this is a good laptop for the money. It's all I need for day-to-day emails and such. ... show more

I have been so patient and understanding for a long time, and was really hoping to write a good review after all but that is not happening. This laptop stopped seeing and connecting to WIFI after Windows upgrade which happened after return window closed, unfortunately. So I reached out to the seller and they agreed to repair it since they offer warranty repair. Now that process took about 6 weeks from the time I shipped it and received it "repaired" back to me. To set it up again and find out..the issue remained the same! It is still asking to install network drivers, it is still not seeing any internet connections. After 6 weeks of waiting... to receive this?.. In any case, I've never had this big of an issue with any item I've ever ordered on Amazon. Perhaps if you never run into any issue with this laptop, you're fine, else, the story may repeat. ... show more

This laptop is super fast and has most of the updated technology. The battery life is great. The reason I bought the laptop was to do R Programming for school. Unfortunately some of the features of Rstudio don’t work with this laptop. If you are looking for a great laptop for general use, this is it! However if you need it for programming, I would recommend a higher quality version. ... show more
