I really liked my old chromebook, but it was sevral years old. Google said the only way to update was to buy something newer. So I did. I checked and the chromebook was only 2 years old. That meant I should have 8 years before they would quit updating this one. I thought. Not bad for the money. Turns out they had loaded the same OS in this newer one that my old one had. Which made it to old for updates to. So, even though my new one had newer parts, it had the old, nonupdated brain. Now I was going to have the same problems. No updates and several sites wouldn't work because they said my browser was out of date. Nice. Just warning you. ... show more

This was the worse laptop ever. It didn't work from day one had to send it back and fight to get it fixed it would power on then just shut down and not come back on. Finally they so called fixed it and it ran so slow and always hung up. I thought hp was really good but they aren't cause I got an HP printer and it only worked about 3 months and quit working to. I'll never ever ever buy another HP brand anything. HP is expensive and both items the laptop and printer stopped even working before 3 months of use. I don't recommend HP to anyone anymore and now I see why they had the big lawsuit over cheating customers with their printers. ... show more

I gave it 4 stars due to the laptop had arrived in good condition. No scratches on the laptop especially on the screen. The keyboard and pad are in good functioning condition. Bluetooth works including Webcam, which is the main reason for buying this laptop. For use of the Webcam. The resolution is ok. This is Not a gaming laptop. Recommend Microsoft for gaming purposes. Sadly, the Chromebook OS is old and two updates are available till your required to upgrade to a newer version of Chromebook OS to enjoy the buil-in, and multiple layers of security that Chromebook advertise as their selling point. Remember it is refurbished. I wouldn't use it for banking or use of personal information for security purposes. ... show more
