I upgraded my regular bed to a King! Shipping came faster than I expected. Be careful the box is heavy. Now putting this bed together was another story. Please get help. Because sitting for that long is crazy took me almost 3 hours. Instructions are not very clear. Wish I could have paid for assembly. I decided to use the slacks that came with the bed. I also used a low profile box spring, to cover the gap from the headboard to mattress. The bed is not to high but it’s a decent high. I decided on a 12inch pillow top mattress as well. ... show more

You def need 2 people to build this. Took like 3 hours prob close to 4. Very sturdy tho and I do love it so atleast it was worth it Edit: for those with temper-pedicure please read, we have a temper-pedic power base and although it would fit in the frame it would either sit to high or rest directly on the metal part of the bed frame and basically be suspended in the air not contacting the floor. So I opted to remove the metal frame so the power base could sit directly on the floor. So basically I customized the frame by removing the metal support frame underneath and bolting the rest together. This means that the bed frame is not really supporting anything and is just for decor but it’s fine for my purposes as it encloses the power base. ... show more

To say I’m obsessed. Is an understatement. I am over the moon with this bed. Pretty straight forward to put together. Instructions are clear. Bed looks gorgeous for the sophisticated modern look. The gold trims are enough to accentuate the beige of the boards. Just. Obsessed. My bed is n a k e d right now since I just moved and need to get covers etc. but even then. Y’all it looks beautiful, but the hardest assembly I’ve ever done. Holes on the board and metal poles don’t align, holes are full of the residue from when they made the holes which made it super difficult to assemble. Poles on the sides show gap. I wouldn’t buy it. Also, I had a specific instruction telling them to deliver it right to my door. I live on the third floor and they left it on the first floor. Had to pay for it to be moved. ... show more
