This bed is difficult to assemble, the headboard takes almost the same time as rest of the parts. But once assembled, this is beauty with beast. Looks elegant and too sturdy. I used a memory foam mattress to top it and the result is amazing.

My wife loves building stuff by her self so she built it. It took her two hours to build without taking a break. Easy instructions she didn’t need any help. Bed is sturdy, no written step by step instruction, just pictures and numbers, some of the screws didn't aligned with pre-drilled holes, make sure you screw the bolts into the hole first before you assemble each piece to ensure that it fits and won't cross-thread. I really wanted a tall bed frame for my room and found this gorgeous frame. I was a little hesitant to buy it because it didn’t have many reviews, but the reviews that were there was really good so i bought it anyway. This frame was originally $479 but I got it on sale for $270 so that was awesome for starters. My cousin helped me and it took about 1hr-1:30hrs to complete. Some of the screws were too short for the holes but it came with extra screws and the longer ones worked just fine. It’s very sturdy and the velvet material was a selling point for me too. I’m pretty short (5’3) so the height was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend! ... show more
