Built sturdy, but I had problems self balancing. I’ve never used a hoverboard. Learning how to mount and dismount without the unit shooting off was a bit challenging. If you weigh over 140 pounds I suggest you look for a different hoverboard. It will kinda bog out if you try to move too fast and you are too heavy.

This is my 13 year old son's third Hoverboard. While they've all been this brand, this is his least favorite. It is slower, which isn't a huge deal, but it is also lower to the ground - too low. This means that you can't lean as far forward to go and its easy to lean too far, which makes the front edge catch on the ground. He's well under the weight limit, so that's not the issue. It's the design. Not ideal. If you're looking for a slower, easy to learn on Hoverboard for a smaller and younger child, I would say this is a great place to start. For older, more experienced teenagers or smaller adults, I would say to look for a better model.

I recently got the Hover-1 Rocket Electric Self-Balancing Hoverboard and I must say, I'm very impressed with this product. The hoverboard is pretty fast but it does feel on the lighter/cheaper end. While this isn't a deal breaker I feel like its good to know besides this its really light and easy to transport and pretty fast. It charges up pretty quick but its still a big battery so it might be a few before your riding again.

I was hoping to give this to my son, but after reading the weight limits, and warnings. It looks like my grandson will be the first on to use it. It looks fun, but takes some practice. It would be a great gift for a kid, but it doesn't hold enough weight for most men.

The media could not be loaded. My children hate getting off of this thing. Takes a while to charge, but also last quite a while. Didn’t see an option to be able to turn off the lighting in the instructions, but that would be a nice addition. I give it four stars only because after a week, the left wheel occasionally makes a grinding/rubbing type noise. Of course my children probably ran into something to cause it🤷🏻♂️

Ok, so I'm a bit older but I've always thought these things look fun. They are. I was amazed by how responsive and just plain fun this thing is to ride. It charges in a few hours and, to be honest, I have had it over a week and haven't had to recharge it yet. The kids love to ride it and everyone has a blast once they get their hoverboard legs, which does take a bit. But it's like any other activity that requires balance: surfing, skating, etc., it takes a minute but then you get the feel for it and it becomes second nature. Please be careful, though! A kid can fall and usually not do too much damage, but older people trying this can definitely end up in the hospital! I didn't, but it was close! So I recommend everyone who tries and rides one of these, young and old, to wear a helmet, pads, etc. The ride is super smooth but when you hit a bump or crack, look out, your legs can go right out from under you. If you're in the market, this is an excellent board that I can recommend. The construction is sturdy and responsive, the lights are really cool looking, and it's very fun to ride. Have fun and be careful!

Neat little hover board at a reasonable price, great for younger kids 6+ I would say. Minimum weight is 44 lbs up to 160 though my 180lb fiancé got on it no issues. Charges quickly , easy to turn on and goes a decent speed. Would recommend for the price
