After letting battery completely drain and then completing full charge cycle, I hit the power button and device turned on and now works great. Hopefully it stays that way.

This is Hover-1 Ranger Pro Elecric Hoverboard | 9MPH Top Speed, 8 Mile Range, Bluetooth Speaker & Long Lasting Lithium-Ion Battery, 5 Hr Full Charge. Safety first is true to claim. Everyone should wear a helmet and pads, not included. This is very easy to setup and charge. It is heavier than I expected. The next day I took to the street. Since I already have the skating balance this was step on simplicity to control. I recommend only activating the fast mode if you can skateboard or rollerblade. But wow. I didn't want to stop. It takes hills too. This was the most impressive part. This will sail uphill without breaking a sweat. This is an impressive gift or the kind you get for yourself.

We bought this as a present for our son. Battery life is about 10 minutes but the biggest issue is that after a month of light use around the house, the cord started sparking!!! We are extremely thankful we caught it before the cord caught fire!!! We reached out to the company who said that their warranty doesn't cover the cord and we would need to buy a new cord from them - for which they charge about half of what the hover board cost! Shame on them!!! Buyer beware...

The hoverboard only lasted for 5 months. The charger no-longer charges and Bluetooth no-longer connects. Perhaps this is why there is only a 90 day warranty? However, when the hoverboard worked, it was quite nice.

Yay! I finally got to try the hoverboard and I loveeeee it ! You do need a bit of practice even though I thought I was a master of balancing related activity (like ice skating, roller skating, water ski, and etc). And also, wear the Knee pads if you are not good at balancing (or just for caution) This is quite convenient and fun way to get around once you get used to it. I wouldn't ride this around my city just cause I truly don't feel safe doing so in NYC but I took this to our camping site and this is how I 've been rolling !! lmao I think kids (not too young) and young adults would definitely have fun getting around on this! however this one is my very first one (buying and riding), so I cannot comment on how great this is compared to other similar ones. I just think this particular one I got is awesome!
