Right off the bat I want to mention that this hover board has a pretty low weight limit so it's meant for smaller adults or teenagers. With that in mind, my son is very pleased with his new toy. He has so much fun riding around the neighborhood on his new wheels. And as a parent I'm very happy that this hover board is a bit slower than the nicest ones you can get. So it keeps him safer without going too fast.

- Made in China - Rated up to 160# While the title used to say for adults, the weight rating is pretty low. It's also not all that wide so I think marketing for kids would have been better. The title has since been changed but the bullet info still includes adults. The LEDs aren't for seeing, they're just looks, so no "safety" feature. Otherwise the 11yr old using this is having some good fun. It's not the most robust build, overall, but it's holding up well enough. I don't know about the price but that's up to you when you see it. This is a great beginner hoverboard. Runs pretty good and sits low and doesn't have as long of a range or as much power as the higher models. When I originally tested it, it kept beeping on me and didn't seem to have as much power as the Hover Turbo only to realize that it has a bit of a weight limit making this much more suitable for kids or lighter people. So if you're not heavy, this is a fun starter hoverboard. I have hooked up to a go-kart style seat attachment and it's pretty fun. But it does struggle on the road due to the uneven payment. Probably more suitable for the sidewalk or more flat surfaces. Overall, great starter hoverboard for beginners from kids to lighter weight people.

Okay this product is advertised for kids, youth, and adults. But if you weigh more than 160Lbs you better be careful! It says adults in the item description but categories says "youth". It should be more consistent, when I got this it was to use for the whole family, now only a few of us can use it. It's easy to ride on, and the batteries last a long time. This is definitely a lot more affordable than other models since the technology has been around awhile. It's water resistant which makes it great for long term usage. This makes a great gift, just make sure you know that it's for youth.

This hoverboard is very suitable for children, it sits low so more stable and easy to go on and off. It does come at a cost of clearance but these type of hoverboards are not really meant for anything other than flat surfaces. Light feature is limited to the body and there are no extra features like bluetooth but that reflected in the price entry. Range is very low, at 3 miles you won't go far My experience with Hover-1 is a mixed bag. I have quite a few of their products that failed on me and customer service is sub par. On the other hand I have some of their products that are durable (but they cost much more...)

My kids have been wanting a hover board for awhile but we held off due to the cost. This one caught my eye due to its more affordable price than I've seen in the past. My kids were thrilled! Works as expected (they've tried their friends' and cousins' hover boards). Top speed is 7MPH which is plenty fast IMO especially for beginners and kids. It runs on a rechargeable lithium ion battery. Looks cool in blue color and has LED lights for look and safety. 3 mile range. 160 lbs max weight. Fun stuff!

He’s join this immensely and has improved his balance greatly. He practiced on a friends hover board and then I ordered him this one and he says this one is smoother than his friends. He is impressed with how smooth and quick this device is. I am impressed with how smooth it looks when he’s riding on it. It looks easy yet I’m too old to even think about trying. I’ve had enough fun watching him show off and learning about how these devices work. He is 160 pound teenager and a device holds his weight well and does not stress. Device is made of some sort of durable smooth shiny plastic and I believe there’s a metal inside that offers a frame and axle and ball bearings etc. I’ve given this lots of thought and I don’t know what else to say that with express how cool of a device this is . We have all seen them on TV yet it’s a whole different experience when you see it in person as it lets the person riding it just glide. So I guess enough of my personal stuff you just probably need to know how durable and powerful it is. He thinks this is more powerful and more sturdy and more smooth than his friends that he has written before. I look at it and it feels like a durable device yet it will not hold my adult overweight body so I don’t even attempt. If you’re giving in as a gift the person who received this if there even slightly athletic will be extremely excited it is just a cool cool cool gift and a cool cool cool item.
