1. Is it cool? Yes. Lights are cool. Ability to play music also neat. If you like hoverboards and want to try a cool looking one then yes this is a fine option. 2. Music volume though is limited and only available via one speaker (the other for important machine beeps). Not a big deal but you won't be blasting your music thru this. 3. My 8 year old kid got proficient at this quickly. So much so she whizzed around the house well and I took her out to a local track to get more experience in larger areas. ...Where she mis-balanced just one time so FELL AND BROKE HER WRIST. That's right, first time = broken bone. 4. Getting on and off this thing takes practice (YouTube videos can help), but even so it will roll away from you on its own if you aren't on it. Not a fan of it taking off on its own, especially when it is so difficult to mount and dismount. 5. JUST NEVER NEED A REPLACEMENT CHARGER... BECAUSE I own a different Hover-1 hoverboard and have tried TWICE to purchase a Hover-1 replacement charger for it via their website. I have successfully placed the order just to never actually be sent a charger. The first time they said "We are now out of stock and cancelled your order" - the second time I have yet to receive a response. .... Now does that mean I would or you would have the same issues with getting a replacement charger for this board were you to ever need one?? I can't say. BUT it has been a frustrating element to my hoverboard ownership. 6. The go-cart attachment option seems cool - I've yet to invest in it, but I think the only way I'll be letting my kid back on this thing is if she's sitting down.

This hoverboard is priced relatively low yet performs decently. Ok, it is not a Segway, but still very good for the price. The rose gold color is unique and the "infinity" mirror with lights on the wheels is amazingly cool looking. It is self-balancing. It is split in the middle and you turn by applying more rotation to either side. Caution- If you have never ridden a hover board before, there is a learning curve and it is just not for everyone. You must have a pretty good sense of balance and at least a bit of athletcism.

My kids were anxious to ride this board as soon as it was charged. At 45 years old I wasn't going to risk it, but instead decided to be the "observing reviewer" First, the positives - the lights on the wheels are pretty cool. The fact that it has a blue tooth speaker is pretty awesome, until you realize that the quality of the speaker is pretty dismal. My girls loved the rose gold color, as they hoped it would keep their brother from wanting to take a turn riding it (it didn't work). After a bit of "learning" by all three of them, they were soon riding through the house, outside on the grass, and on our paved drive. It was all fun and games while it lasted. After about two weeks the red light came on the right side of the board and it would no longer work. We tried charging it again, no luck. We googled the product and searched YouTube for answers but found nothing. I don't know if ours was a fluke with a bad battery or what, but it no longer works. If I were to purchase another hoverboard for my kids, I would seek out a different one. There is a good chance that ours was just a one off defective one, but I wouldn't take that chance again.

It was really hard trying to ride this board. It seemed like it was stiff if that makes sense. I would not recommend it. This isn't my first board, it's the hardest to ride.

This hoverboard is easy to maneuver. You turn it on and are ready to go. It is quite sensitive and easy to accelerate and deaccelerate. Turning is a breeze, too. I also like the lighting on the wheels. It is very cool to ride at night. The speaker is not loud and not very good. But I consider it more as an attention attractor. I would use ear phones for music. Overall, a very good hoverboard. Price is right, too.

I am a grown adult and was very excited to get this hoverboard! I have never, ever used a product like this before. It says on the package that it takes 3-5 minutes to learn. Okay, honestly it probably took me about 10 minutes. When I first stepped on it, it felt really wobbly and I thought I was going to die! But after just a few minutes of practice, I felt like a pro! I can easily navigate wherever I want to go, forward, stopping, backward, turning, etc. with ease. It takes only slight pressure to move any direction and feels very stable. It reminded me a bit of skiing or snowboarding. It is a little bit of a workout as you have to keep a little bend in your knees and maintain balance (again, like skiing). The lights are super fun and I personally love the rose gold color. It also has the capability to hook up music via Bluetooth, but I haven't yet had a chance to try out that feature. Again, I've never used another brand of Hoverboard, but I really do love this one, and would definitely rate it 5 stars!
