Great product, exactly how it is described, with accurate measurements. The bag is a nice canvas, pretty thick, not flimsy. Beautiful looking Bamboo legs, pretty easy to screw the 8 screws into the legs and metal rods. Just note that, if you remove the bag, the X legs will separate and open, as the hooks on the bag are the only things holding up the X frame. It's fine for me because I'm not planning on removing the bag to take it with me. The bag also has a Pull String, so if you do plan on removing it and taking with you, it does close up all the way, so no one can see inside. It won't however close while it's hooked up to the X frame, unless you pull the 2 outer edges of the X legs together, then you can pull the string to close the bag. perf for the area i needed. smallish and tall. not crazy about the fabric. its vinyl-esque on the inside and fabric, cotton/canvas on the outside. wish it were straight thick organic canvas. im into the more natural. but i like that it was a dark color so it wouldnt show stains. tho a nice darker beige, taupe woulda been nice so u dont loose dark socks in the bottom😉. nice and roomy bag hangs easily on the corners of the scissor frame. prob fits one full loads worth. easy to set up. spoiler. if u dont have the bag on the frame, the frame collapses. i dont like that. im going to tie fishing wire on the bottom to keep it from collapsing every time i take the bag out. hamper is worth the $. i also bought a double butterfly which is a similar design. it was a bit too large for my intended area. bag fabric was nice and natural bc its cotton. same collapsing issue as this product im reviewing. bag was spectacularly wrinkled and had i kept it i woulda ironed it. i think the double is overpriced which i read in a lotta reviews. ... show more

I liked the concept of having a hamper made of a renewable resource like bamboo, but my happiness was short-lived by the fact that the canvas was a polyester blend of cotton. Anyway, the frame was easy to assemble, but does tend to wobble. I put in a lot of clothes and this thing holds everything without succumbing to the weight. One of the loops of the canvas that holds onto the frame did rip after a couple months, but I just stitched it up and have had no problems ever since. The canvas doesn't even seem to pick up the odor from your clothes, but I put it in the wash with all my other clothes anyway. It has a nice thread to pull on and close the top, which makes carrying it to the laundromat easy. Functionality and aesthetics wise - great. Build quality - ok. ... show more

I bought one of these months ago, and managed to force it from my mind until I decided to scroll through my list of unreviewed Amazon purchases. Where to even begin...I never even managed to get the thing assembled. Cons: - Edges of the bamboo frame were rough and splintery. - Broke during assembly. One plastic end of one of the metal cross bars was not threaded properly/at all, so it could not be screwed to the bamboo frame. I tried forcing the screw in anyway, and ended up splitting the metal bar. I was looking for a replacement for my cloth hamper bag which hooks onto my all wooden, folding hamper. This frame has metal rods which need to be screwed in, which in and of itself is not a big issue, but the whole thing just seems a little less sturdy than the 15-20 year old all wooden ones I have. The laundry bag part is fine. It's bigger than the one it's replacing. It's not cotton though, but rather a stiffer material. I originally purchased this hamper about 10 years ago. At that time, the bag was a very sturdy and thick fabric resembling linen or hemp. I ended up giving that one away last year (still in like new condition—that's how well the original held up!). I recently moved and decided this hamper would once again suit my needs. However, I was sorely disappointed to discover they've change fabrics! This one is a cheap and flimsy synthetic facsimile of the original. Frankly, it's awful by comparison.
