I’m an omegaverse girlie through and through and I love a book centered around the beta. Grace, who’s had a rough past and living in a nightmarish situation, meets Max, an omega and begins her journey of self growth, healing, love and finding herself & her pack. The timeline moves quickly in this one and the most focused on relationship is between Max & Grace (which is well done, full of happiness & laughs and was a joy to read about), the relationships between Grace & Max individually & together processes nicely with the alphas. I thought this book was well written, had a fresh/different storyline, had fun characters and a good amount of spice. I would 100% recommend and absolutely read another book if it were to be a series. ... show more

🔥OmegaVerse 🔥Scent Match 🔥Soul Mates 🔥Psycho Step-Bro Oh my goodness!!! I love the relationship between Grace and Max. If they were the only 2 in the story, I would still eat it up!! This is a Beta being saved by an Omega and both being courted by a pack of 4 Alpha’s. The Alpha’s were not great to Grace in the beginning and it almost seemed like they only allowed her a pass because they wanted to get to Max. Grace had run-ins with 2 of the Alpha’s before Max’s proposal and neither Alpha treated her very well. I can honestly say that I felt like the step-brother and his pack needed to be held accountable for their actions but I feel like maybe more is coming. I felt like the last couple chapters were a little drawn out and unnecessary. My Personal Ratings: 5 Stars: Loved it! Couldn’t put it down or obsessed about it while needing to get to the end of it. Had to share some bits with my hubby!! Usually read in less than 2 days cause a girl has got to sleep sometime. Will be reading everything this author has to offer and most likely reread the series as next books in the series are released. 4 Stars: Really Good. Whether the story drew me in or a specific character, will definitely continue the series and look into more books by this author. 3 Stars: Enjoyed something about the book, whether it be the storyline or a character but also may have not liked something. It was missing important feelings. This story is about Grace who is a beta and she runs into a male Omega and they both happen to be going to the same fashion house for jobs. I love that the story is mainly told by Grace because in Omega versus the story is usually told from the main point of view of the omega. So I love that perspective, but I feel like her relationships with the other members didn’t go very deep. Most of the relationship between Max, the male Omega and Grace was put into detail, but her relationship with the other pack members seemed very superficial. Also, there wasn’t much detail when it came to the spicy scenes with the MM parts. In fact there was none. If I find out there is MM in any story I immediately want to read it because I love that dynamic. But there was absolutely no spicy scene that described the MM parts. It was very glossed over. I was very disappointed in that. This was my first book by this author, and for that reason, I don’t know if I would read another one unfortunately. Also the main hurdle in this book that the fmc had to overcome was getting out of her stepbrothers clutches. Her stepbrother is depicted as someone who is very controlling and gets what he wants. He works in the underworld and he stops at nothing to get his way. It’s even mentioned in the book that they think he will go as far as to try and kidnap her. And the stepbrother does try something, But he doesn’t get away with it. It was almost like he was let off too easily. It felt like the buildup of the stepbrother was so high and then it was very anti-climactic. Like that problem just went way too quickly and there was a HEA.
