This a nice product for space-saving on a closet rod.It’s also a nice way to organize, keeping similar clothes together. Bear in mind that, when all seven hooks are used, the stacked clothes will “pooch out” at the bottom, so they will still take up the same amount of closet space in the end. I took off one star because the plastic material doesn’t feel sturdy enough for things like a series of jackets. ... show more

    • Doesn't really save space for me...
I remember this design from decades ago but they were plastic and the hooks would bend under weight. These are an improvement but have the same design flaw in concept. I can't figure out how they really save any space because you still have to have the length of the space you've just "saved" in order to hang the rack horizontal on the rod. So, I can see that if you have a several of these on a rod you can cascade the hangers down all of them but you still need to leave a section of rod space equal to the length of this hanger in order to pull out individual hangers. I just cascade my hangers without this device. They are well made, sturdy, and fairly light weight for metal. ... show more

I have been looking at products like these for a while but finally decided to give it a shot. And I am SO glad I did! I already have bought 2 more sets of these :) Each hanger has 7 spots so you can get several on one "set" of these hangers. Many other versions of this I've seen only have 5, so having more is definitely nice! As my photos show, they work both vertically and horizontally, but the horizontal part is really just helpful when putting the clothes in this device. I did have some hangers that were too fat for the slots, but 95% of my hangers fit! In my photo, you can see 3 of these hangers, with t-shirts, sweatshirts, and workout shirts. Everything still seems very accessible and I cannot wait to basically fill my closet with these! ... show more

Long ago, I purchased the plastic versions of these, and was let very disappointed because they bent out of shape and fell off the closet rod when I tried to hang a mere 100 pounds of clothes I really don't need on them. (Okay...I don't know how much they all weighed, but some were heavy, some less heavy. In both cases, the plastic hanging hoops bend and/or break, as plastic is occasionally wont to do). So after finding these in metal, I couldn't wait to try them out. I purchased some from another seller, but the problem with those is that the metal ends of the hanging hooks were not machined well AT ALL, so they were sharpish and rough-edged, and then they profusely snagged a few of my silk camis when they brushed against them (because they were my favorite ones, I'm guessing). So I was prepared to send these back if they had the same issue. Not a problem here! The hook ends are smooth, and each hanger is well-made. They are also longer than other sets I've purchased, which is great because that means the clothing layers don't stack together as closely, so it really does save space. Next time I need another set (which should be soonish), I'll stick with THESE instead of other metal ones. ... show more

They do not save space they take up more space they break if you fill all six slots really hard to get clothes off and you have to load them a certain way that requires a lot of closet space. Save your money don’t buy these.
