I'm a knitter and was looking for a better storage option for the scarves and cowls I've knitted. I had just been folding them over hangers but it was getting bulky and taking up too much room. I ordered this hanger and it was exactly what I was looking for. I can now hang multiple bulky scarves/cowls and not take up so much room. With hangers at both the top and bottom, I like that I have the option of hanging them horizontally as well as vertically. The wood and metal seems very sturdy and of high quality. The rubber on the each of bars does a great job of keeping items from slipping and moving around. I did notice that the hanger heads are a bit narrow and had to force it down on the closet rod but it still slid along the rod easily. The only reason why I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that one of the hangers I ordered, the parts bag 1) didn't have the allen key or wrench and 2) didn't have any spare parts. Thankfully, I had ordered two and the second hanger had a complete parts bag with all of the tools plus spare parts. ... show more

As I get a bit more serious about organizing my closet and buying staples that are long wear long use, I find these space savers are well made and high quality, and have been repurchased as I expand my closet. They take 2 minutes to assemble and the instructions included are clear. These hangers look and work great. I use them for midi and maxi skirts, slacks, and jeans (size 6 tall) and they fit without any issues on the hanger. It’s also nice because you can “pull” out a pair of whatever you want to wear and then push the rod back using the tension system which works better than the ladder hangers where the rods are stationary or have to be unhooked to see/access your clothes. Frankly to the other review that states that the hanger is difficult to assemble.... it isn't. The directions are actually incredibly clear and it's a very well thought out design. There are only two screws that need a tool and the allen key is included, everything else can be done by hand. The hooks are on a swivel through which you place a screw and tighten- the rest of the actual hangers slide through the wooden body easily and you attach a thumb nut at the end....... seriously simple. In my opinion the design of assembling in person is actually really well thought out because the packaging would be exponentially larger if it were to come assembled- I mean exponentially larger. And that cost would certainly be passed down to the consumer. As it is, the units are very nicely packed into the box and are very organized and easy to unpackage and assemble. Another point I'd like to contend is that the hangers sliding along the main wooden body is actually really useful for people who use it in certain configurations (like me) where it's useful to actually pull the pant a little farther out from the rest before removing it from the hanger. Similarly, you can pull the hanger out farther from the rest before hanging your pant or scarf on it. I also think that the use of two hooks is ingenious in that you can hang it horizontally off of a pole, or that it also allows you to change the orientation of the entire unit without having to disassemble and reassemble it. I'm frankly really impressed with the design of this product and I think it actually does have a really well thought out and luxurious feel. It reminds me of some of the contraptions I would find at the Four Seasons. Elegant, and just novel enough of a luxury that you wouldn't have ever known you needed it until they introduced it to you. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this at its price point, I think it's the most elegant solution I've seen aside from multi hundred dollar etsy constructions which are twice as bulky. ... show more
