This coverup is comfortable and soft. I ordered it hoping that I can use it as a mini dress and coverup and it is perfect as both. The skirt comes to mid thigh- I am 5’6” 117 lbs. small fits perfect. The color black dot almost looks like a dark dark brown so I may exchange it for a different color. My bra does not show if wearing as a dress. Not sheer and is well made. Great coverup/dress. Update: in bright lighting, the coverup is black with white dots. I am keeping it. May still order another color.

Fit true to size. I am 5'9 and middle aged, and it is very short on me, but I don't mind as I am using it as a swim coverup. Due to the shortness on me, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable enough wearing it as as dress. If you are shorter (and younger), the material definately would allow it to be worn that way. The royal blue color was very vibrant and beautiful. It had a beachy feel to it. In additon to the blue, I also ordered a white one, and it was very shear and I didn't like seeing my entire swimsuit underneath it, so I returned it. I would definately order it in some of the other darker colors though. The gathering at the waist flattering and allows for you to tighter or loosen the dress to fit to your liking.

I ordered this hoping to use it as a dress and it is PERFECT! Well, for me based on size and my height/proportions. I am 5'3, 130 lbs and ordered a small. I have average legs, average torso, so while it is short on me, it worked perfectly as a mini dress. (I just took care how I bent down if needed..lol) Fabric is SOFT, medium weight but not at all hot, very well constructed, not at all see-through. Have washed them all 2-3 times already (gentle cycle, hung dry), they still look brand new. The deep V on the back and bead detailing is also a nice touch. As other reviewers have said, where the draw-string to tie it is below the waist line, it still worked well for me and was very flattering on me regardless. I loved it so much I also bought in black, dark navy blue and the black dot. I LOVE these! Wore them all on a February trip to Maui and got tons of compliments! Buy a coordinating ruana, boho cover up or light sweater and it gets even more versatile! All four colors I received are exactly the same size, cut and fabric. One of my best Amazon clothing purchases ever!

This cover up is made with a fabric similar to swimwear, so it pulls the moisture away and dries quick. It is light weight with a tie at the waist, so you can adjust the length by tightening and bubbling the waist. I ordered up a size because I didn't want it to be form fitting and by doing so, it is just a bit long on me.
