This should have been a 5 star review. Aestheticaly the light is everything the pictures and other reviewers note: beautiful, even elegant. The remote works as advertised and adds to the charm. HOWEVER the installation design is a mess. For no reason that I can see the fixture bracket isn't designed to mate with a standard ceiling outlet plate but rather uses a clumsy design that requires drilling holes in the ceiling plaster. To make matters worse, if you use the supplied expansion anchors and screws (which I did) they're poorly sized so the screws work loose from the anchors and the whole fixture detaches from the ceiling (which mine did after a few days), requiring a reassembly and jury rig to fix. Aughh! None of this is explained in the instructions. Aughh again! I'm being generous in only subtracting one star. ... show more

I like that light; I bought two of them. It's easy to install, a nice variety of colors (3500K-6000K). My only concern is that it's not so strong; on the description, I did not see the number of lumens; I will say it's 3000 lumens. However, I still like the fixture. It's elegant and stylish.

The media could not be loaded. The light is nice you can change from natural light to a brighter fluorescent light and dim for a softer look to the room. It’s was not too difficult to install. The remote is a little complicated but it works. Glad I got this.

I got this for over the table in my eat in kitchen. It looks great, everyone mentions it as they come in. I find the light good, but we have a small city eat in kitchen, so not too much space to fill. The remote is cool, it lets you change the temperature of the light and dim it. However, there is no way to mount the remote, thus I am certain it will get lost. I tried to get a wall mounted dimmer to work with this, but it did not work, I even had the electrician come in and try an expensive Lutron dimmer, but the light just kept blinking on an off (the guys had a good laugh that it was a disco light now). So what that means is that even though the rest of my kitchen will dim from the same wall outlet, this one will not, so it's only on or off. This would get 5 stars easily from me if this was not the case. ... show more

    • Remote broke and I can’t turn off the light.

We accidentally dropped the remote and it doesn’t work anymore and now we have no way to turn the light off. I even ordered an identical light fixture to try to use that remote but apparently each remote only works for the one light.

It‘s soooo pretty and one of my favorite pieces I own now. Literally everyone who sees it asks me where to get it. I was initially bummed because gold was out of stock, but turns out silver goes beautifully with my dining room. The remote control works very well, warm and cool light, and dimmable. It is one of the smaller lights I have come across so be sure to check your dimensions. For my purpose it‘s perfect and I‘m really happy with it.
