Everything is delightful: the hotel itself, the village, the sea, the clothes, etc. Even if some scenes were filmed in Croatia, you feel you are in Italy. The main character, a British lady who is running the hotel, is a great actor. She really has a lot to do to entertain those different people and keep the hotel running to the level they expect from her, especially with a husband who does nothing and the chief of the local police who is a crook and blackmails her. Adore this period drama. The scenes are breath taking with perfect acting. Hope they will make a season Three. Worth spending the money.

    • Pitiful character development, Beautiful setting
Just pitiful character development. I had to continuously rely upon Fast Forward. Not a single likeable character in the series. I liked that 2 of the main characters were killed off.
