  • Awesome!
Color: White
The media could not be loaded. Do you know how hard it is to find a magnetic low voltage dimmer? Especially one that is as nice as this! I just finished installing almost 65 ft of LED strip lighting attached to a magnetic LED driver/transformer that requires a magnetic low voltage dimmer if you plan to dim the lighting at all. It was a major task trying to find a dimmer that I liked let alone one that works! I absolutely love the results! This dimmer has fantastic control and smooth dimming from practically nothing to bright as daylight. No blinking like other I've found or rough dimming control, it is just about perfect! I was hoping to find a magnetic low voltage dimmer in the Lutron Caseta line of dimmer switches, but had no luck finding one compatible with my LED setup. Despite not finding exactly what I wanted, I did find something close and one that works perfectly. ... show more

  • Great for Green Creative LED bulbs
Color: White
My house has several rooms lit by MR-16s controlled by Lutron Maestro MALV-600 dimmers. As the old incandescent MR-16s have burned out, I have been replacing them with Soraa high-CRI LEDs. These worked OK with my old dimmers - I got occasional flicker but they were very usable. I recently switched to Green Creative LED MR16s since their high-CRI bulbs were about 1/2 the price of Soraa. Unfortunately they did not work well with the Maestro dimmers - the lamps would shut off completely when the dimmer was turned up to maximum brightness. I found a document on Green Creative's web site which lists compatibilty between different dimmers, fixtures/transformers, and their bulbs. The Lutron Diva was the only dimmer that was compatible with all their bulbs and tested fixtures/transformers. Due to the lower cost of the GC bulbs, it made sense to replace the dimmer. The Diva works great for me with the GC bulbs. ... show more

  • Very Satisfied
Color: White
I paired this with an Evergreen Technologies ETD1260 - Strip Lighting Power Supply which requires a magnetic low-voltage dimmer such as this one. Works perfectly - dimming is very smooth through the whole range, with no flicker. Nice little bonus I didn't see mentioned is a subtle orange back-light for finding it in the dark. Very satisfied. Keep in mind this model uses wire leads instead of terminal posts, but it comes with wire nuts. ... show more

  • Works with transformer type MR16 lamps
Color: White
Our original dimmer from 13 years ago burnt out, and the one I found at the local DIY outlet, though marked "Halogen", isn't suitable for use with transformer-type MR16 pot lamps - the original dimmer and this one are marked "Magnetic". Seems to be interchangeable with our original, though this one does not have the neon night-light our original had. Very spendy for what it does. But it's a functional replacement for one not readily available at our local fur trading posts. ... show more

  • Obviously not new
Color: Black
The box had been open, taped up and sent out as new. The switch has " bad" written on it

  • Necessary for Magnetic Low Voltage LED Power Supplies
Color: White
The guy who installed my strip LEDs before I owned my house had used a standard dimmer switch for the LED MLV supply, which caused the LEDs to often be overdriven and die, and the power supply to occasionally trip its internal breaker. This switch fixed everything, as it's rated to be used with MLV power supplies. I had to buy a whole new set of LED strips as well. It's a bit pricey, but if you need it, you need it. ... show more

  • Highly Recommend!
Color: White
Just what I needed! My application called for a Magnetic Low Voltage Dimmer Switch. Most of these switches are expensive. YouTube videos specifically recommended this one here on Amazon so I got it and it worked perfectly. Good instructions. Self explanatory. I thought I would have to hire a electrician but the instructions made it easy to install. Took me about 5 minutes to install. Highly Recommend! ... show more

  • Perfect for my low profile LED strip under cabinet lights
Color: White
I love the simple design of this dimmer. Looks just like a normal on off and has an unobtrusive, easy to operate dimmer on the side. We have them all over our house for regular lights and this one works perfect for LED under cabinet lights in the kitchen.
