My daughter likes playing Roblox and I wanted to see how I can make her spend her time productively so decided to give it a try for this one. It was a bit uncomfortable for her to do "learning" instead of just "playing" at first, but after 2-3 times she got soooooo into this. Unbelievable! Once she realized what she can do with Roblox from this course her interest change drastically. Now when she's in front of the screen, all she wants to do is to build more Roblox games from CodaKid lessons. This is by far the best self-paced course I've came across. We tried it all, tynker, kodable, etc... all of these were boring for her. CodaKid definitely got it figured out how to keep kids engaged! Roblox is the most popular game for my 11 year old son and his friends. It's games within games. He was excited about the idea of learning how to create something in roblox that others might use. While he doesn't quite get there with this, he does learn a lot, stays engaged, and doesn't have to be badgered to work on it. ... show more

This looked like a fun and educational idea, especially for kids who are already interested in Roblox and want to learn more about the coding side of things. The software itself was okay and seemed like a solid concept for combining gaming interest with learning. That said, it did not end up getting used very much in my case. I do think the value here will depend a lot on how motivated the child is to stick with it and how interested they are in the learning side, not just the Roblox connection. Overall, it seems like a decent product, but it will probably be a better fit for kids who are genuinely excited to spend time learning the material. ... show more

Good video content, and provides ample opportunity for individual creativity. Daughter has never coded before, when run into issues, it is tricky to get tech support, they eventually come to the aide and resolved all issues, but by that time my daughter was frustrated and lost interest.

Horrible! Do NOT buy. Waaay overpriced for what you get. The product is poorly designed and not very engaging. We had a few issues getting started and there is no support from the company. Your kid would be better off learning from YouTube videos. I regret making this purchase.
